Thoughts on Jeremy Hill's value if he ends up with the Pats?

I'm sad as a Rex owner.

I honestly believe Rex is the superior RB. And I don't own him. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'd probably be a little nervous if I was Mike Gillislee.

I believe he is too - but adding another RB to the Pats backfield is never fun for any Pats RB owner.

I had been waiting on this news all day and told myself it was stupid to get my hopes up...

Whether or not Hill is a stud in NE, I'm excited about a positive ROI on Hill as I had him thrown in on a deal for nothing a few months ago..

I went ahead and dropped James White and picked up Hill. I feel like Gillislee may end up somewhere else. That’s my hope. Will be interesting to see how Hill pans out.

Since I had Burkhead I wanted to make sure I at least had the goal line option. lol. I don’t really feel like Burkhead keeps that role and I am just taking a swing. Definitely don’t want to roster 3 NE rb’s so I cut White loose.

Absolutely. He's the best and likely only pass catcher of the bunch. The other 3 seem pretty repetitive to me.

Sometimes you can't be too picky. Lol. But a dynamic offense is worth the shot in mind.

I trust Belichick's faith in the guy. They wouldn't waste their time if they didn't see something. I traded Rawls for him last fall hoping for something like this. I love the landing spot.

White catches a lot of passes no doubt. But last year the big production came from Burkhead and Lewis. I can see Hill getting 160+ carries and the TD's will be the key. I expect NE to move Gillislee. If not, things are much cloudier. We will see. White was by far unstartable last year.

It wouldn't surprise me if Gillislee and Hill are fighting for the 2 down role, with the loser potentially being inactive gameday or cut. White is the pass catcher and sees an increased reliance in important games.

Burkhead seems the safest, as he can run between the tackles and out of the backfield. Not saying he's an amazing talent, more like the tallest midget.
