Thoughts on Jeremy Hill's value if he ends up with the Pats?

I actually feel like he could really excel with them but the New England backfield is so crowded. Still feel like Burkhead would vulture some of the goal line work.

Ill pass. Burkhead, Lewis and Gillislee were all very efficient backs before landing there. Hill had half a good season his rookie year and he looked awful after that.

For the remaining options, it's a pretty darn good landing spot. He goes from nearly no fantasy/dynasty value to having some sort of perceived value until the start of the season. Could work out really well for him. I hope they sign him!!

Exactly. It's a great option for Hill because of who he is: an honest, limited, 1-dimensional thumper who could be the next Ridley or Blount, or what Gilislee did for the first few weeks last season.

Didn't they resign Burkhead? If Hill came aboard, it'd be a true 3-headed monster w/ James White and Burkhead

Would basically render them all a lottery start never knowing which one would produce. If they would have brought on Hill and let Burkhead walk I think it would have been a really really good spot for Hill from a fantasy perspective.

This has been my dream landing spot for him. I think they'd use him in the Blount role. Burkhead would and White would rotate between the 20s and Hill would pound it in. While Burkhead did well in the goal line stuff last year, I dont think that's how they want to use him, he just happened to be the best at it from the guys they had on their roster.

No burst and runs too high. He'd be an end of the bench stash and pray at best.

I think that's a fair point. I currently own White and Burkhead. I would like to pick up Hill but would probably drop White to do so.

Even the Pats aren't perfect. With Gillislee he actually looked good before being a Pat just never had the workload so everyone assumed he would be way better. Burkhead looked good too but his sample size was much smaller. The Pats just seem to have that knack for reviving RBs careers. I wouldn't bet against them doing the same for Hill.

Outside of injuries, Burkhead was a very good starter last year in fantasy. If you are asking me if these guys turn around into all pro RB's? That answer is easy. If we are talking about whether they can have fantasy value on a Patriots offense that scores a lot of points, then yes I believe that is a good bet.
