lol...and where do you guys think his value is going to go when ap gets reinstated? im just curious? i personally dont think ap plays another game for the vikes...but like i said...its sell time if your rebuilding. every owner out there shares the same opinion of the last 3 posts...you can get a fortune for mckinnon right now, im guessing...just listen to these guys.

if you can keep him, do so. but if your your rebuilding, now is the time to start shopping him. see what you can get, and then see again next week.

I have McKinnon.. but I honestly don't know what I would even trade him for.

I will probably just hold and keep him as RB depth.

Yes, me too, but I see the point of shopping him around for sure if you are rebuilding .. think he'd be a rebuilding godsend at this point..

Depending how many years you're looking to rebuild in - for sure. In a rebuild, RBs should be the last pieces you acquire.

There is virtually no chance Peterson plays this season, so to imply that Peterson's reinstatement is a pressing issue in terms of McKinnon's value at this point is a stretch at best. As I said before, he just played against two excellent run defenses and played well, You are basically saying his value can go no higher, I completely disagree.

I've been offered Mckinnon straight up for Crowell.

How do you guys value Mckinnon vs. Crowell?

Like you get McKinnon for Crowell?

I feel like McKinnon has more value right now.

Personally I'd accept that, then after McKinnon explodes against some weak defenses - flip him for something more or be happy you got him.

I have both but if I had to choose, I'd prefer McKinnon.

I've been dealing quite a bit lately, and McKinnon is the one person on my roster I've pretty much said is off limits... If AP doesn't come back to Minny, me getting McKinnon off the waiver heap could be one of the best moves I've ever made in my fantasy career...

As for what I've been offered for him... I got offered Tavon Austin for McKinnon straight up about 2-3 weeks ago... Told him I wasn't interested in dealing away lightning in a bottle...

Just got a text asking my thoughts on Maclin straight up for McKinnon. I've been going back and forth trying to get Maclin for 2 months.

i am not saying that his value can go no higher. in fact i do think it will go up if he stays healthy. why wouldnt it. and no, i dont think ap will play this year, but he very well could be reinstated in the future (next year), and he is currently being paid by the vikes, so either they cut ap or trade him, but ap's name in a mckinnon conversation is not good for mckinnon unless ap is moved obviously.

think about a few of the young rb's who were being talked about the first 1/2 of the season. think about what they could fetch you. i moved davis for beckham and a 1st. i picked up oliver and traded him for ebron and a 1st. someone got a 1st out of me for west. ive moved crowell for kelce and a 1st....im guessing, and by the looks of the responses, im guessing right....people will pay a pretty good price for mckinnon right now as long as he's playing. which barring injury, its his job going forward for this year. its anyones guess how the ap situation will play out.

i wasnt suggesting that you sell cheap, or that he's a few week thing. but if you are rebuilding, you can capitalize on how we value him. a team rebuilding is likely 2 yrs away at minimum, its hard to say what kind of value he will hold then. he may be the best rb in the game or he could be irrelevant. im not suggesting that you move him before thursday, im not suggesting you move him next week, but he is certainly someone that i will be looking to move when someone shows interest and they have some rebuild pieces that im interested in. yeah, maybe i do miss on a great rb, but hopefully i fill my rebuild roster with other great pieces.

now i own him on some competitive teams aswell, and i will be looking to upgrade jeffery, cobb, gordon, marshall type guys to calvin, green, julio, dez, dt because of the value mckinnon is carrying over the next few weeks. i wont be moving him for those teams unless i get something i cant refuse. there is no need to do so. but i can certainly use his spike in value to go after an elite player. does this value spike get me the upgrade...its going to depend on the owner, but its certainly worth giving it a shot.

im just as high or higher on mckinnon as everyone else. i drafted him in several league as early as a mid 2nd and as late as a mid 3rd...so i was targeting him and took him as late as i felt possible to ensure i got him. i am more than happy to wait and see what happens here with most of my teams if i cant get an upgrade. but for those rebuilding teams, its all about acquiring pieces that carry value and if i can get a few pieces of value for 1, im doing it. even if that means i missed out on this guy. it really isnt going to matter for a few years anyways.
