Thinking of trying McKinnon and Marvin Jones for 1.03. Is this close?

Personally if I owned 1.3 I’m clicking accept

Re: Jerick Mckinnon
I own 1.03 and I'd snap accept that. Marvin Jones was a WR1 last year. I'd start off by offering McKinnon and a smaller piece and work a back and forth. That's a lot to give up for the likes of Michel or Chubb etc.darewood11 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 24, 2018 8:53 pm Thinking of trying McKinnon and Marvin Jones for 1.03. Is this close?

McKinnon survived Days 1-2 of the NFL draft. How are we feeling?
Any runners yet to be picked that in SF would materially impact McKinnon's 2018 (and/or beyond) projection?
Scarbrough -- Would absorb some punishment and cap McKinnon's GL touchdown upside
Ballage -- Stylistically compares to Tevin Coleman (if you buy McKinnon as the Freeman)
Others?

I don't own McKinnon - and regardless of your feelings about him, I don't think there was a threat in the day 2 to be drafted. The 49ers paid him bell-cow money. They likely will add someone day 3 since they don't really have anything behind McKinnon; but I don't really expect that player to be a threat to McKinnon.

Re: Jerick Mckinnon
Fantasy football franchise owners are firmly entrenched in two camps:
Those that have him on their teams who believe he will be a bellcow back and should bring a return at or slightly below or above his current ADP (1.3-1.4 rookie pick, 49 overall).
However, they are not finding much of a market because of camp #2:
Those that do not have him on their teams who believe he sucks eggs, will never be a bellcow back. The troglodytes in this camp can barely dress themselves in the morning and forget their wife and kids' names regularly, but can recite from memory every one of McKinnon's statistics that suggest (at least to them) that he will never succeed, he will never stop sucking eggs, and why they would not give a 3rd round pick for him.

They may not even do that depending on Joe Williams' offseason progress.Phaded wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 7:05 am I don't own McKinnon - and regardless of your feelings about him, I don't think there was a threat in the day 2 to be drafted. McKinnon is the guy. That's all there is to it lol They have plenty of backs in Breida, McNichols, and Joe that would be asked to step up if needed.

Re: Jerick Mckinnon
Wish some of the guys in my leagues would realize this, I just offered him for a package equal to about the 1.9 pick and got soundly rejected with no counter.zelldawg26 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 10:35 am McKinnon is the guy. Re: Jerick Mckinnon
McKinnon's biggest challenge is going to revolve around staying healthy. If he can do that, I think he can be plenty productive in San Francisco.DynoScout wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 7:01 am McKinnon survived Days 1-2 of the NFL draft. How are we feeling?

Re: Jerick Mckinnon
I was surprised the Niners didn't take Scarborough late in the 6th round. I guess McKinnon's already overvalued price tag just got a bit more expensive now.
