They needed someone, with just Doctson and Crowder to throw to; and occasionally Reed, if healthy. Probably helps Alex Smith in SF more than any thing

I don't see it. Thompson, Crowder, Reed/Davis, Doctson, Richardson... no clarity. If we get captain checkdown Alex Smith, then Thompson, Crowder, and which ever TE is healthy are the guys to own... if we get last years Alex Smith, then maybe Richardson and Doctson are the guys?

As a redskins fan its not a match at all. The front office has been saying they want a speed guy to replace Djax, but we dont have the QB for that type player. I would have much rather paid Arob what he got or a little more than he got than paid Richardson 8 mill a year.

Reed always hurt, Doctson always stinks. Not sure why people aren't seeing an opportunity here.

Alex Smith doesn't help but the competition for targets isn't nearly as stiff as people are making it put to be if Richardson proves to be a good player, and he's shown more promise on that front than Doctson has.

I will admit Richardson to me has shown more than Doctson but Doctson seemed to be playing better towards the end of the year. Here’s to hoping Smith doesn’t regress back to throwing a short route 90% of the time.

im not sure richardson is any better than Doctson...its not like the wr corps in seattle were outstanding and unbreakable..
