Albert Wilson to Mia (Landry 2.0?)

Landry is a polarizing player. I think Wilson has a similar skill set to Landry. I have a hunch that Wilson is a guy that will have a nice jump in production. He's on my waiver wire right now in one league and I so very badly wish our rosters weren't locked. Now we get to see if the Miami system created Landry or if Landry is good at football. 2018 is going to be an interesting year.

As a Dolphins fan I like it a lot. Was just posting about Landry the other day and listed Wilson as a comparable type of player who is relatively underrated, plus Dolphins got him for half of what Landry wanted to get paid.

I don't hope the Dolphins feed him 160 targets though.

Wouldn't be betting on too much from Wilson. Landry got the targets because he deserved them. I don't think Wilson is as good. This is a nice landing spot for him, though.

He won't be a WR1, that's for sure...but he's probably wire fodder in most leagues, so if you get him on the cheap I bet he's a solid WR3 with upside

he is a smallish speed wr sort of the anti landry to my eyes . A good signing as I think he has been underutilized in KC but his sjkill set overlaps kenny stills it seems . What it does is kill any carroo hype unless parker gets traded .

I wouldn't be cutting carroo for the fun of it but it would be easy to move him at cutdown day or as a trade throw in type. I really liked his tape and competitiveness coming out of school . Some guys just never pop and he may be one but still worth an end of the bench spot until you just have to ditch .

Not sure being athletic precludes Wilson from playing a role similar to Landry. Admittedly leaning on stats here...but seems like KC has utilized him similarly to Jarvis for the past two years (aDot hovering around 6-7 yards) and this past year he showed that he's pretty good at it.

It's not like Miami has some great run game to fall back on. Landry was targeted 161 times last season, so those targets have to go somewhere. And that's with Stills getting 105 and Parker averaging about 7 targets per game last season.

Barring an injury, I think Wilson is a likely bet to surpass the 62 he got last season in KC by a lot.

I was planning the same thing, but if it's a 1QB league then I'd rather have Wilson over a 3rd backup QB.

Having to roll with Dalton every week in 2016 was a nightmare when Russell wasn't 100%. I got Trubisky in the 5th round last year, but sold for a 2nd to late first move up. I do like having a young QB stash even in 1 QB league with a late pick that's 95% chance a swing and miss anyway. Supposed I could try my 4th on that still and get a 2nd NFL round QB

Edit: sent 3.7 for A Wilson and also asked for $20 blind bidding as he has over 200 and I only have the 80 we get at the beginning of the year.... I misread the rules and didn't realize it carried over
