4.26 short shuttle

7.14 3 cone

9 ft 6 broad jump

no vertical tested

You can have him
Not to mention he’s barely 200 pounds and doesn’t have receiving production. Easy pass for his price.

Why does the NFL draft tracker have such a high grade on RoJo?

https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/prosp ... status=ALL

Hes barely behind Guice.

I think RoJo is being undervalued by this community..

But in regards to the NFL draft tracker; they clearly do not agree with mocks or the fantasy community. Their WR2, WR3, and WR4 are Deon Cain, Dante Pettis & Antonio Callaway respectively.

I agree with you here. For a while I was lower on Jones than most. Now I may be higher. The tape hasn't changed, it's just everywhere else where he's been hurt. His concerns are legitimate, but I still like the tape and think he'll be fairly successful.

RoJo has been overrated from the start, now he is trending down where he should've been all along.

I hope the majority of people feel this way so I can grab him late. When I watch his tape I see a guy who can not only keep his feet during contact, but push ahead for positive yards. Has a great stutter step, and moves defenders out of their shoes, so to speak. Doesn't shy away from contact at all, and is excellent at allowing his blocks to form. Still, he has the ability to split defenders and he laughs at arm tackles.

He deserves to be in the top 5 conversation for RBs IMO.

Does the NFL Draft Tracker have an archive? Is there any way to review how their rankings have panned out in the last 5 years?

No clue about their rankings, but the NFL combine give each player a grade and I assume that is a decent proxy for what you're looking for
12 Team 1 ppr .1 points per carry
Garbage
QB Jalen Hurts
RB A-train, D'Onta Foreman,Jahmyr Gibbs, JK Dobbins, Rashaad Penny, AJ Dillon, Jerrick McKinnon, Joshua Kelley, TDP, Chase Edmonds, JRob, Zamir White
WR CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, DJ Moore, Hollywood Brown, Brandin Cooks, Odell Beckham Junior, Marvin Jones, Braxton Berrios, Richie James
TE Dalton Kincaid, Foster Moreau
+2 Flex
1.02, 1.06

They established their new (current one) grading system in 2014.

2014
2015
2016
2017

As a small exercise, since a lot of people are not on this class; I wanted to compare the grades of skill position each year. I looked at how many players they scored at 6 or higher ("should become instant starter").

2018 has 3 QBs, 3 RBs, 1 WR, 0 TEs.

In comparison to previous years?
2017 - 1 QB, 4 RBs, 3 WRs, 3 TEs
2016 - 3 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs, 1 TE (they predicted Jordan Howard would be a starter.. pointing it out as I think that's surprising given his 5th round pick status)
2015 - 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 4 WRs, 0 TEs
2014 - 4 QBs, 1 RB, 5 WRs, 1 TE

...so yeah - even NFL seems to agree with us that this class is lacking in the WR department. Only 1 "instant starter".

That's great.

Man, the 2015 WR class is just terrible! Had looked at them in awhile...

As for the Draft Tracker, it looks like it gets some classes right, other's not so much. Got the 2015 RBs pretty right, but botched the 2014 WRs pretty badly. Their list of 2014 RBs also probably counts as a miss, as well.

This archive has definitely made me look at their rankings in a lesser light. Haven't had time to review their analysis of good players and bad to see how it stacked up, but will try to do that at some point.

In what way? Gurley, Gordon, Cooper turned out OK. DJ, Diggs, Agholor too. Funchess, Crowder, Ajayi, Tevin Coleman, Duke. Not all bad. Tons of busts though. DGB, White etc. I thought that 2016 was worse. WR's were awful.

I think you missed the part where they listed only players rated @ 6.0 & above. You rattled off guys that were rated as 5's that turned out well.

In 2015 WR's he was referring to the only 4 rated @ 6 & above were Cooper(good) Parker (jury's still out) B. Permian (bust; oft injured and ineffective when healthy) and K. White (see B. Perriman)

So he questions their ability to pick out "sure fire" starters which is debatable. In the Draft Tracker defense they are all starters when healthy. Below 6.0 they are rated as "chance to be starting WR" or "could develop into starters "

Above 7.0 (which only Cooper was) is when they predict stardom as a Pro Bowl type all star. So maybe that is where the disconnect comes into play.

 To say this '18 class of WR's is the worst ever for top talent you ain't just whistlin' Dixie  bad year to be drafting@ the top if you need receiver help. ( of course probably a couple will end up perennial all stars but good luck picking them ahead of the season)
