Started a poll. Over past 3 years Bradford has more GP (31 to 22) than Luck. Thats something no one would have predicted 3 years ago (especially coming off of Bradfords lost 2014).
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

If we are to believe his timetable, which he seems confident on, he is back by August. While he can't possibly know how he will feel until he starts throwing as part of camp, body language doesn't lie. He looked good today. I believe he is taking his time.

Yeah, his body language makes him worth a bunch of firsts still.

That's a sobering statistic.

I guess the question is who will play more games in 2018? Will it be Luck's shoulder, or Bradford's knee that hold one or the other back? April and he's still not throwing a regular football. That doesn't sound reassuring. But apparently this has been the plan for his rehab, and Luck sounds optimistic about his return. Looks like a little more "wait and see" for now.

He certainly is, considering the original timetable had him in the lineup last year. I am glad I got Carr plus for my only share of Luck. I genuinly hope he can play well again, but I am very skeptical at this point.

Big leap from what I said to a bunch of firsts. As an owner, I'm a bit more confident, but it is a precarious situation nonetheless.

If he isnt throwing real footballs now... How long do you think it will be until he is ready for full NFL level contact? Something tells me we will see very little of luck in 2018

I believe he is making adjustments to his mechanics as well, to add more lower body motion and change his throwing technique. At least that is what he has said. He could be fixing that now without throwing live balls.

Imagine the focus he’ll have developed when handling dead balls no longer fazes him...

Excellent point. If it's been this long, and he can't throw a football, what happens when a 320 LB DT lands on him? How would we be talking about someone in another sport in a similar situation? If Mike Trout had suffered an injury, and it had been a year and a half since he swung a baseball bat, and he was now just beginning to swing a nerf bat, how would people in the baseball world look at this? Not to mention Trout would have the added bonus of not having to worry about the pitcher charging the plate and body slamming him into the ground after every pitch if and when he was able to swing that "live bat" again.

This sucks so much balls. Luck is far and away my favorite player in the league. I have been all optimism through this injury until now I am becoming concerned.

I remember when Drew Brees's career was over after a bad career ending shoulder surgery. Then, he went to New Orleans. How many posters on our site do you think, remember that Brees played 5 seasons for the chargers? Then his career was said to be over. This throw in bleep, this hasn't thrown in a year crap.... It's as if you know. Don't dismiss who we are discussing so whimsicly. With today's modern medicine, diet, etc, odds are pretty damb good that Luck makes it back and plays at a high level for a decade plus.
