Rex Ryan has played a significant part in Sammy Watkins disappointing start to his young career. Sammy comes off of his spectacular 2015 season in which he had 1,047 receiving yards and 9 TDs in only 13 games. During that offseason it's revealed he suffered the common Jones fracture and had a screw inserted in his foot.

Week 1 of the 2016 season Sammy goes to the sideline, complains about incredible pain in his foot, and tells the coaching staff he may have broken his foot again. 4 days later he's playing against the Jets on a TNF game and is a non-factor. 2 weeks after that, the Jets finally place him on the PUP list.

P.S. Rex Ryan also pulled the same stunt with Shady late in the '16 season. I will always hate that incompetent fat fk.
