As a gronk owner I am not selling low. Is anyone?
Same here.. I imagine most are in the same boat.

James McGhee wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2018 9:42 am Cooper Kupp. He can probably be had fairly cheap (mid 2nd or later) and I think his role will continue to grow as the Goff and offense get even better. He's not the big play guy but he's the go-to consistent guy with a decent floor from week-to-week.
I just had to respond to this. As a Kupp owner, I would only begin to consider dealing him if a 1.08 or 1.09 is on the table. And then I'd probably hold off to see who is on the board. But by all means, if you can buy him low from someone else you should.

I think Kupp, like most players, will improve with NFL experience. I don't understand what it is anyone saw of his play that would promote any other narrative. He is a centerpiece of the team's offense and a friend to the quarterback, on and off the field. I expect high floor WR2/3 performance, but I'll take it, for a productive run of several years. I do not see that for Cole, in an offense with a weak quarterback and a run-first philosophy coming from the front office.

Buy lows based on current value (DLF adp) vs expected value:

QB: Trubisky & Mariota, and for real cheap Bradford & Tannehill

RB: Duke Johnson, Jerick Mckinnon, D'Onta Foreman, Gio Bernard

WR: Crowder, Chris Godwin, Albert Wilson, Carlos Henderson

TE: ASJ, Trey Burton, Jonnu Smith

I think it depends on what happens with Sammy Watkins. If they sign him to a long term deal, I think you could be absolutely right. They have plenty of weapons. McVay acquired Woods, and drafted Kupp and Everett. They also have Josh Reynolds who displayed some skills. If they don't feel comfortable with those weapons to go along with Gurley and maybe a lower level signing, then Kupp might just be a middling WR3/4.

I think this is an underrated aspect that goes beyond the metrics. He is a quarterbacks best friend on the field with his route running and if they let Watkins walk, I think you can easily project about 1000 yards on 70+ catches making him a rock solid WR2.
