Carlos Hyde

Where do you guys think he's going to land? As an owner I'm hoping he re-signs but that seems unlikely. What are his best landing spots? Seattle? In the right spot do you think he can be a big time factor next year?

I almost hope he doesn't re sign in SF. He put together his best year (partially due to staying healthy) and really upped his receptions, but once Jimmy G took over his targets went way down. I also didn't appreciate Shanahan's insistence to get Breida involved at the expense of Hyde sometimes, that would worry me moving forward.

Personally I think they let Hyde walk as Shanahan looks for his RB. I've seen Tampa and Detroit mentioned, and would like to see Indy get involved. Barring health, I think he can be a dependable starting option.

Tampa, Detroit and Indy would all be good places for him to land. They all have good 3rd down backs to compliment his skills.

Would love to sign him in Indy so they can go Chubb or trade down in the draft. Think he would pair up very well with Mack.

I agree with TB, Detroit, and Indy. I could also see him in Washington, NYJ, or NYG. I doubt the Giants would spend the money there though. He’d go well with Thompson in Washington but I doubt they’ll sign Hyde. Just throwing out additional options.

Yeah, I also hope he gets out of SF. Any of those landing spots would be better but I like Detroit the best, with Stafford & that passing game to keep the defense honest, Hyde could put up big numbers there, imo.

I will throw out an option not mentioned - Oakland. They have a pretty good o-line and not much competition for touches. This is actually where I am hoping for as an owner.

Good call. If that oline gets it together, that'd be a great spot.
