Raiders firesale?!?!

Postby Risky bidness » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:34 am

The Raiders have reportedly informed teams that every player on their roster is available.
CB Nnamdi Asomugha is the Raiders' most talented player, but his massive contract will make him hard to move. RB Michael Bush, who is a free agent at the end of the season and will make only $550,000 in 2010, is a prime trade candidate. Per Adam Schaffer.

WOW!!! Who could use Michael bush? Surprising considering the raiders look much better this year.

Too bad Al Daivs can't trade himself to another team. Like the Jets or Steelers. ;) Then the media would say how great of an owner he is, how classy he is, what an ambassador to the game he is. And we'd all laugh or puke.

Offensively other than Miller can't see there'd be a whole lot of players teams would want other than possibly Murphy.

One thing's for sure, I doubt anyone will want any of their QB's....

Maybe the Chargers go and try it again to trade for M.Bush... must be good news for all those Ryan Matthews owners out there who drafted him in the 1st and 2nd rd of startup drafts this year..

The Raiders have to lead the league in early-round draft busts over at least the past decade or so. Can anyone think of a pick over that span who has met or come close to meeting their draft-expectations? I'm not sure that I can.

I´m sure there were a few people out there back in 07, who thought JaMarcus Russell becoming a bust...

Let's slow down here. What is your source for this? If it's Rotoworld's pontifications, then you can't take it seriously. I like Rotoworld but you can't expect them to be in the inside of something like this.

His source is clearly Adam Schefter, as indicated in the original post. Schefter is pretty reliable.

Whoops, wow. I guess I didn't read that.

But no, Schefter has been spitting out a bunch of BS this season.

Not necessarily true. I have read in several places, if Al Davis should pass away or be unable to perform duties in the organization, his brother would be running the team.
