We do have the option to not drop a player and just go slightly handicapped that week. This is what most of the league has done. We have a cap of 2 players for every position except wr/rb/te (start two of every position on IDP). There will likely be a change in the off-season though, as I don't think it has worked out like the Commish was hoping. I know it is weird starting 2 while only being able to have 2. I'm in quite a few leagues with this Commish though, and know him to be a good one, so I figured I would give it a shot. Devy league, 16 teams,so picks are severely diluted.

Like the touch of adding the late 4th like that would put it over the top.
