Actually 2017 was Jarvis' least efficient season of his career by a wide margin but he did get targeted an insane amount of times, including the red zone. I will say this, 49ers def one of the only teams with the cap space to pay him what he is reported to want.

In my fantasy dreams, SF doesn't resign Hyde and opts to go with Breida/J Williams. Breida is the every down back.

I think that is indeed a fantasy...but in reality I don't mind the take that Breida could have an expanded role like Duke Johnson, Chris Thompson, Bilal Powell, etc. Unless of course the 49ers draft Barkley, the killer of fantasy dreams.

I have the same fantasy except Joe Williams is the featured bellcow and Breida is an occasional 3rd downer. I don't think Barkley is there when they pick at 9, and if he were I still think they'd be better off taking a lineman who could play 8-10 years rather than a short life spanned RB.

What about guys that are a little bit more under the radar like Marqise Lee and Donte Moncrief? Neither of them have really lived up to their hype, for various reasons, and are 2018 UFAs. I would imagine both of them would be cheaper alternatives to the ARobs and Landrys of the world.

And what about Terrelle Pryor? Can’t imagine he stays in Washington on that contract. He would have to take another short, prove-it deal somewhere. Maybe Shanny can get him over in SF.

And assuming they left Hyde walk...maybe Crowell or JHill as two down backs.

Martavis Bryant would help me the most

Joe Williams getting a shot would be nice too.

The 49ers have the most cap space in the league they don't need to shop in the bargain basement they need to go out and get the best weapons available to help support their shiny new QB.

Allen Robinson or Jarvis Landry, possibly D.Thomas. One of those 3 makes a ton of sense. I have really no preference personally. But, There is a need at the WR position there and any of those 3 would slide in as JimmyG's #1 option and would likely be very fantasy relevant.

As a fun fact, ARob and Landry actually both bookended Jimmy G in the second round of their draft.
