The Eagles are gonna need a lot of breaks to go their way to pull this one off.

And the Falcons need to stop trying to force another fumble and focus on the tackle.

I sincerely hope people are watching this game and can see how much Ajayi is NOT your average-back, not even close. His talent is undeniable.

That being said, his fumbling is a serious issue. That's literally the ONLY thing that scares me, as an owner, and it's not a small thing. We've seen it derail careers of all but the most generational.

What I found interesting is that they did not trust him near the goal line - it was Blount & Clement.

A running back who is not used there has very limited upside.

Absolutely! That's incredibly concerning.

It just annoys me when people on this forum bash him because "he's JAG", or that "he's only had a couple great games and nothing else". Those are both silly arguments.

If you want to say "I'll never own him because I don't value him very highly, because I think he's a headcase and that's why Miami got rid of him" that's a legit theory! Or, "he obviously can't be trusted with ball security" - again, totally real as a red flag!

But don't tell me he's not talented. Don't point to his YPC over the 1st half of the season as evidence that he's a bad back. And PLEASE don't give me this foolishness that says, somehow having multiple games over 200 yards is a bad thing because his other stat lines pale in comparison. That's the silliest of them all.

*PS: not at all directing this rant towards you or your comment Phaded, haha. Just me ranting against the world like a crazy person.

I'm trying to think of a comparison, a "talented" guy with strange gaps in his game that pops into my head would be Christine Michael. Although I think Ajayi is better overall.

Sweet pump fake and escape from Ryan to connect with Freeman just behind the line of scrimmage. Magic.

If you tip the ball you can run into the kicker?

That seems like a silly rule.

Messy first half. And do all outdoor fields end up so slippery in the playoffs?
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Yup, sadly there is a comparison to be made there.

Ajayi is definitely on a different level than Michael though. Both to the eye test, and from a production standpoint.

In terms of being a head-case/knucklehead/etc I hope he can turn into "2nd Act Marshawn Lynch", and not regress to Matt Jones/Christine Michael! Because holy crap, he is fun to watch.

I have a hard time believing the winner of this game can beat the winner of the Saints & Vikings.

Agreed. Falcons' defense was pitiful this last drive

Always confident about a NE-ATL or NE-NO Superbowl.

Edit : More with NE-NO lol ATL is defensively giving the game
