Doug Martin's future
What do people think the future may hold at this point for Doug Martin?

Re: Doug Martin's future
His days as a leading rusher seemed over...i'm holding but have no faith and even less hope. One great rookie season, 2 no seasons, one great year, 2 no seasons...maybe cycle will go on haha.

Re: Doug Martin's future
I see a lot of people are really down on him. I wasn't able to watch any games of his this year. But, the following clips from this season don't look like a washed up RB who doesn't have anything in the tank anymore. I feel like people should hold him, perhaps even buy low if they can get him cheap.

Re: Doug Martin's future
Definite buy. Still looks good and could be had for cheap right now.
Re: Doug Martin's future
I'm still a buyer if the price is right (duh). I think his injuries, combined with Tampa's o-line being terrible & Jameis also not doing well, made it a no win situation for him. I don't know if he'll be back in Tampa, but I'm holding where I have him and would check his price where I don't.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

I still think he's talented. I hope he lands somewhere like Seattle.

Re: Doug Martin's future
I probably wouldn't buy, unless it was dirt cheap. There's more hair than simply age on Martin - the suspensions and injury history don't inspire confidence.

Re: Doug Martin's future
He would be nearly your RB5 behind first 4 listed.kamihamster wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 10:24 am would you pay the 3.01? someone just offered me him for it
You're pick is the 25th choice. There is room to find a gem/sleeper RB.
But if you want to buy, wait for another rebirth somewhere in 2018 and sell when he performs, the price seems right.
As a Doug owner, i would think about accept (In my 16 teams, it's equal to 2nd mid-round). Don't think his value will rise again, more than that.
Re: Doug Martin's future
Probably a backup or in some form of timeshare at best.
Re: Doug Martin's future
I would much rather have the 3.01. Only way I'm taking Doug is if he's free (WW) or a toss in to a trade.kamihamster wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 10:24 am would you pay the 3.01? someone just offered me him for it
