I'd rather hold Thielen and Hyde...
Good gracious. MT without a second thought for me. I'm probably still too low on Thielen fwiw
And I'm maybe too low on Michael Thomas...but that's where I'm at. Thomas is not a Hyde better than Thielen IMO.

Couldnt find any other Thielen threads ...

Anyways congratulations to Thielen on being the first ever WR to have 5 consecutive 100 yard games in his teams first 5 games of the season.

How long will this ride last? IE common thought suggests WRs that break out "late" will decline "early" and Thielen is 28 for those for whom age is important factor.

The skillset that Thielen has I believe will allow him to continue to perform at a high level into his 30s.

He is a baller and a great example of what hard work and dedication can accomplish.

So basically, his future for the foreseeable future (ie 2-3 years) is low end WR1 with high end WR1 upside. :)

I agree with this. He's 28 but this is only his third season starting. I haven't seen any let down or flukiness in his game, so I'd expect him to be solid for awhile yet.

Late bloomers in dynasty tend to never receive the trade value that matches their production. Players like Edelman and Baldwin are proof of it. Thielen is really, really good. But, in the eyes of dynasty he's already *gasp* 28 years old and his background isn't a former first round pick or something.

To the ageists, Thielen's biggest skill sets making him a great reciever are his fantastic routes, often due to subtle moves, and his out of the world hands

Those stick with a guy when he ages. He's not a speed and jump ball physical receiver

Still kicking myself for selling him for a late 1st in the 2016 season

I'm kicking my self for selling him in a deal for B.Cooks.

Sold Dez and Thielen for Cooks.

Don't miss Dez as much. lol. But, I think It's very close between Cooks and Thielen.

That's not bad. Cooks is a heck of a WR.

I think that's fair trade value for Thielen, but if your team is winning right now then Thielen is likely a big part of it. So, I understand rejecting it.

If Thielen is being valued at or around a mid 1st according to the poll (currently 51%), I'd then assume that he is fairly equal in value (but possibly worth slightly more than J.Landry. Landry is 3 years younger. How far off is that line of thinking? Landry is worth more than a late future 1st imo.

The poll is from January, no way you get Thielen for a single 1st
