I know it's fun to speculate about Cousins' new team.

But unless he truly has a beef with the Redskins as an organization, with the support and endorsement of the head coach, I'd think they'll work out a long-term deal. That is of course unless the Redskins are only giving Jay Gruden 2018 as a "prove it" season, in which case both Cousins and Gruden could be elsewhere within the next calendar year.

Just read my post and you're absolutely right. I was thinking good opportunities for him, but only said opportunities.
From the teams on those lists, who would excite you if you were Cousins?

Dolphins NO
Bills NO
Jags YES
Broncos YES
Redskins NO

Cardinals NO

Teams that may be interested with aging vets but a long shot to land him:

Ben said yesterday he's coming back, so unless something very surprising happens with Brees, he's really looking at Denver and the Jags that might appeal. The Broncos O-line wouldn't thrill me if I were Cousins. Jags it is?

New Orleans. It would make sense for the saints to let brees walk and sign cousins. They hAve a Def on the rise and loaded with weapons. Don't think the drop off would be impactfull from bree's to cousins. Thoughts?

Interesting thinking but ultimately I would say slim chance. I can't shake the feeling that Cousins will end up in Denver or NY (Jets)
