Went with Mixon and Aaron Jones over him.

Thems the breaks unfortunately. I'd imagine most teams that relied on him to be a starter didn't have to make that decision, since they probably weren't in the playoffs to begin with. Gut wrenching way to go out though if so.

Barring extreme circumstances, no legitimate contender playoff team should have been starting Henry. He’s essentially an upset special for the week. He will likely also burn those teams next week when he returns to normal production levels, failing to catch a pass or reach the end zone.

The only way anyone started Henry was to hope for 50 yards + a goaline TD...praying for 11 points, which is all he's done all year. For his ADP, he's really killed owners (he went 44th overall in my home redraft). For some reason, old coaching staff and new, no one has ever decided to give Henry the lion's share of the workload...maybe that changes for the rest of the fantasy playoffs...who knows.

There's no questioning that Henry has had some monster games and monster runs, but he is just not a reliable fantasy option at this point. And I can't help but feel like this is going to overinflate him going into next season...maybe I'll be wrong.

What a weird outburst. He had peaked at 58 yards in a game before last night. Weirdest part to me was that he looked darn good last night, which is not how he's looked in the random Titans games/plays I've watched this season.

Lewis still led the snap count in this game 60-40 and got 10 carries. That’s with the team going run heavy after going up huge early. Also, Jacksonville just looked disinterested in tackling most of the night.

Said the similiar in the week 14 thread. The Jags are just collecting paychecks at this point. The ineptitude of the offense has neutered that defense.

I think they just need to extend Bortles’ contract out further with more guaranteed money. Show him they have full confidence in him and then he’ll shine. 8-)

Keep in mind that this is the same Jaguars defense that shut out one of the hottest offenses in the league four days before this game. Maybe they were tired, but they were losing the battle at the LOS and Tennessee was able to get Henry in space where he's a load to deal with. Tennessee hasn't been consistent with doing that all year.

I don't care what defense he's playing, if you get this guy in space and moving down the field, he is an absolute bull and nobody wants to tackle him. Also this was an interesting nugget from Twitter.

"When Titans’ RB Derrick Henry scored on his 54 yard touchdown run last night - after his record-setting 99-yard TD run - he reached 21.74 mph, the fastest speed by a ball-carrier on a TD run this season, per Next Gen Stats."

I really hope the Titans don't go back to giving him 6 carries after this game, but they may.

Probably a multitude of things. I'm not saying jags d isn't still really talented, just that once Tennesse had a double digit lead, it was over and likely compounded the the game getting more out if hand. Hard not to mail it in given the circumstances. That offense under Kessler is utterly incapable.
