My hottish take prediction of this year is that Akrum Wadley will be taken within the first 5 RBs. Late on day 2 pick.
I wish Wadley would have came out last year for the NFL draft. He was a one year wonder but I think his stock has dropped since last season personally. I watched a few Iowa games and thought he flashed at times but just couldn't put together a string of good games. Very up and down throughout the season. Could just be because the team as a whole wasn't as good as last year.

I am selecting 1.08 in the upcoming 2018 rookie draft. I have just started watching tape on a few guys in recent days.

I'm really liking Damien Harris. He looks like the total package. Runs with power, not afraid of lowering the pads and running into a defender. He's got good burst, appears to have a pretty fast top gear (4.50 is my uneducated guess). He shows patience and vision behind the line.

It's been said elsewhere his comp is Mark Ingram. Some people might take that as a knock on him but I think the only thing that's ever held Ingram back is Sean Payton. I think Harris looks like a stronger, faster Ingram.

Some rookie mock had him at 1.08 which is why I paid attention to him. I think he's going to climb over the off-season. I'm very interested in seeing how he shows at the Combine and where he lands. Detroit, Oakland, NYJ, Buffalo, Miami, Carolina, Seattle could all be potentially decent landing spots (just off the top of my head).

Anyone else like what they see in Harris?

Love that comp with Ingram, maybe not as good of a first cut back as Ingram but 4 straight years of low RB1 numbers is no joke.

I've been watching a bit of tape on Michel, Chubb and Jones. I am not a professional talent evaluator. Not even a decent amateur one. But here are my thoughts:

Chubb:
To be honest his 2017 tape makes him look like a NFL back-up caliber runner. He makes good use of his blocks but doesn't seem to create much on his own. His top end speed is lacking. To be fair, I have only watched the 2017 Missouri, Florida and South Carolina game film. But in that limited film, I didn't see what all the fuss is about.

Michel:
His movement is very fluid and he has great hands. He has good speed but won't knock anyone's socks off. Drafted to the right team he could be fantasy relevant in PPR but he doesn't scream stud either.

Jones:
He struggled against elite competition (Ohio State). He seems like he's built for a pass catching role but I didn't see much in the way of pass catching in the film I watched. His build concerns me.

I'll probably get skewered for saying this but Sony's tape stood out the most to me. Admittedly, I only watched a few games of each.

The hype is definitely crazy right now... the 1sts that were worthless during the season are suddenly untradeable assets...

If one or both Michel or Chubb do well against the Bama defense their stock is going up.

Definitely a great test for both and an excellent time to evaluate them in marquee bowl game

Totally agree. I still think Jones is a better version of Michel, but it will be nice to see how he plays. Also if Chubb's one-cut power style is as successful against strong, smart defenders.

I can't help but think of a slightly faster Stephen Davis when I watch Chubb

who do you guys see available at 2.05 and 2.10? have both of those picks. my league is moving toward superflex in 2019, so I do see a few QBs being taken at the end of the first/early second. I'm hoping for a quality back, and as fas as I can tell, this class is about 12 deep at RB.
Team 1

Superflex, 1.0 point PPR

QB: P. Mahomes $5, C. Newton $20, B. Mayfield $2, D. Brees
RB: D. Johnson $54, N. Chubb $4, T. Coleman $4, D. Henry $14, I. Crowell $3, J. Richard $9, J. Adams $3
WR: A. Robinson $41, T.Y. Hilton $24, J. Landry $25, C. Davis $4, C. Godwin $4, D. Hamilton $3, K. Cole, S. Shephard $10
TE: E. Engram $4, D. Njoku $2, K. Rudolph $3, V. McDonald $4
K/DEF: Irrelevant

2019: 2.04, 2.05, 2.06, 3.06, 4.06

Team 2

Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR/TE - 25 man roster + 4 TAXI

QB: T. Brady, M. Ryan, N. Foles
RB: K. Hunt, C. McCaffrey, D. Johnson, T. Coleman, S. Ware, D. Williams, Ito Smith, D. Sproles
WR: AJ Green, A. Robinson, A. Thielen, E. Sanders, G. Tate, S. Roberts
TE: J. Reed, J. Butt, M. Roberts, V. Davis, M. Williams
TAXI: S. Darnold, D. Fountain, D. Cain, Jaleel Scott

I think the combine will answer a lot for us, I have picks 1.4 and 1.13 in one league.

Im not sure how others will draft this year, I kind feel like last few years Qb has been under rated in draft Strategy, But look at all the teams with starting Qb now that are point machines. So Maybe Ill grab a qb and stash. But I'm hoping to get Love with my fist pick....

I have 1.02 & 2.02 and I'm thirsty as F*** for RB talent on my roster. I'll have my pick at 1.02 but worried that there will be a huge run on RBs this year considering lack of perceived talent at WR and success of '17 RB class. Will be interesting to see what's still available for me in early 2nd. I'll take a WR but as you can see from roster below...not really what I need.
GREEN MOUNTAIN BOYS
12 Teams - 24 Active - 4 IR - 4 Taxi - 1pt PPR, 6pt Pass TDs, No INTs - 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2FLX
QB: R. Wilson, T. Brady, K. Cousins
RB: M. Gordon, D. Cook, T. Coleman, J. McKinnon, I. Smith
WR: B. Cooks, J. Jones, A.J. Green, S. Watkins, M. Williams, M. Valdes-Scantling, J. Ross, M. Lee, T. Taylor, P. Richardson
TE: T. Kelce, D. Njoku, J. Smith
TAXI: B. Snell, M. Weber, K. Warring
2021: 3rd, 3rd, 4th
