What about Scarbrough? I know almost nothing about him other than he might be a Derrick Henry clone?

Just that Guice is a better inside runner doesn't mean that I would select him over Barkley. Pass catching is well in favor of Barkley, but rushing efficiency is greatly in favor of Guice. He has better vision, more nuance, power. Barkley to me is more hyper athlete than savant running back.

He is just saying inside runner which is probably true. Barkley bounces a lot of runs outside and beats defenders with his speed

This is a very loose comparison and is only looking at the players size and they both came from Alabama. Henry is taller and 10-15lbs heavier. Had 3x more rush attempts and 3x more touchdowns in his final season of college with almost a full yard per carry average more than Scarbrough. I don't like the comp but I'm sure many people will be making this connection even though it isn't a good one.

This isn’t a good comparison. I am big Bama fan and Bo has great athleticism for a guy his size but he is nowhere near the running back Henry was at Bama. Bo has really regressed this year and honestly needs another year in college to show what he can do. He has been very injury prone so that’s going to raise a flag for sure. I think Bo can be good but he has to learn how to run for a guy his size.

Funny, coming out of high school in an all star game, they actually moved him to WR and he played great. He has the size and hands to be a very athletic TE but I am sure he sticks at RB.

I think all on the above list go 1st rd along with Sutton, Ridley & Kirk. No TE's or QB's. Kerryon Johnson of Auburn probably best in 2nd rd.
Freshman. 1.01 after next year. You watch. I been saying it for most of the year on here and he showed Monday night as he was the best RB on the field between 3 really good rbs. Though I could see him staying somewhat under the radar with Kyler Murray at QB next year and a far different type of offense.
Actually Rodney Anderson of Oklahoma is eligible for draft. Small sample size and cloud of sexual assault charges will probably cause him to return to put in time and let cloud drift away. In 2019 he could be a top of the draft candidate. With questions at hand likely to be a 3rd rd pick in '18
His "assault" accusation makes The Ewok's look like Harvey Weinstein. It was proven beyond doubt that it was a scorned female who he shot down and she jumped on the trendy #MeToo bandwagon. I don't think that will be an issue at all. I agree he will be in school next year and his sample size for most was too small, combined with Baker getting most of the media attention.

Didn't say it was a conviction but in today's environment guys are losing jobs on accusations alone.

The fact that the case wasn't prosecuted is in his favor but teams do factor in the blowback of selecting a player with this in their past. Fair or not it is a reality. A year later and this may not even get mentioned if he stays drama free. Right now it is fairly fresh and a topic.

Just look @ Kobe ... his indiscretions rarely ever get a notice anymore. Back then he couldn't get elected dog catcher. Now he will breeze into the Hall of Fame an icon.

I absolutely agree on your overall argument on the point. ESPECIALLY nowadays. But in his case, it got taken care of swiftly and decisively. I followed most of the CFP and OU very closely and did not hear a mention of any of it once she was exposed and cowered back in her corner of lies (should be prosecuted herself) . Now that does not mean some team(s) won't consider that, but who knows even a year from now how bad the witch hunts will be. The playing field could and should very well be leveled in that regard.

I'm not qualified to say one way or the other who is the better inside runner, but Barkley is forced to bounce outside often because he's running behind a terrible O line.

you must not have caught the Washington game. Washington had supposedly one of the nations top rushing defenses and penn state had 200+ yards rushing.
