Maybe it felt fine but if it didn’t that was a really dumb decision. Will he even be ready by his pro day?

Depends on the severity of his strain. Hooefully he will be good to go, but it would be nice to have an official time...

My all underrated player Trenton Cannon (Virginia St) had a big pro day.

4.4 40 time
10-9 broad jump
38.5 inch vertical jump

Has to be drafted at this point if for only his potential on special teams.

^ From what I have been reading, that is accurate. Don't believe he is a 3 down back, but how many are these days? I like his likelihood to make the team for special teams alone. From film and in terms of his fantasy potential as an rb, he can pass catch and has elite burst. But, he will need to adjust his running style a little bc he is too upright at times.

He had 2 fumbles last year, Guice had 1. Dont know if i consider two fumbles a problem. He struggled Freshamn year a litttle but has improved on it every year since.
Thanks. I guess I just went with a stat I heard on a podcast and should have done a little more research. Yes, Michel did improve, especially after a horrific sophomore year in terms of fumbles.

While he did improve, I do still think it’s an area to keep an eye on. He had 2 fumbles on 156 carries. That’s one every 78. He had 9 receptions, so on a per touch basis it’s one every 83.

Guice, per your example, only fumbled once last year and had 237 carries. That’s a much better rate.

I’m not saying Sony won’t continue to improve, but we do know the fastest ways for a rookie to get benched are poor pass protection and fumbling.

I didn't hear, but I seriously seriously doubt he did. He was running about 75% on routes from Darnold. The hammy injury is still nagging.

Detrez Newsome with a big pro day today.

Guy is known for yards after contact, but managed to run a 4.53 40, which is way better than expected.

How worried are we about Jones II? I saw him as the #5 back of this class and was hoping to get him at 1.6. I know landing spots not established and all that, but I saw a steep drop off after Rojo and if he's giving shades of John Ross and never being healthy or 100%, I find myself at 1.6 on the wrong end of a dropoff and need to make a move before people fall irrationally in love with who they want at 2-5 as they find out the teams

You should move up. Or take Penny or Moore. I think the John Ross comp in terms of "availability issues" is a legit concern given his size.
