Hes so legit he went back to school and has openly said he wants to play a max of 3 years in the NFL. Why you'd want that over a prototypical stud WR in the making and a lottery ticket is beyond me.

I’d rather have Westbrook. He may not have huge numbers if they keep AROB but I view Bradford as pretty much worthless.

lets see where you read that 3 years max stuff first of all...

and 2nd this is a SF so pick 5 will be a choice of a top 3 QB, a top 3 RB, or the #1 WR (assuming nobody takes wr in picks 1-4), and Love was projected to be the 3rd most sought after back in this class behind only Barkley & Guice so I anticipate him being the #1 or 2 next year and certainly be a rookie dynasty early first round pick. You are telling me that after watching Davis go 11 games without a TD and get a whopping 34 grabs for 375 yards you wouldnt take a cant miss RB and a top 5 rookie pick this season? thats the equivalent of 2 early firsts....not even close to destroyed but hey Davis could go on to be amazing and Love and whoever i take at 5 could flop but i like the gamble personally.

Was undeniably a bad year for Davis but he flashed plenty and lets not forget he dropped two impressive TDs on the Pats in the playoffs...

I def saw signs of hope in that playoff game but he got the 2nd one in obvious garbage time and somehow only got 63 yards on 5 grabs in that game.

Im a Davis lover i have multiple shares still, just don't think i got destroyed on a deal that essentially gave me 2 top 5 picks for him. i also see no reason to expect significantly worse FF production from whomever i take at 1.05 this year so unless Davis goes bonkers (he could in theory but i don't see that passing attack dominating all of a sudden) I don't think i'll be kicking my self in 2018 over the deal.

Yeah I don't know enough about devy to have a sense of how valuable the 1.05 pick will be next year if a guy like Love is already out of the draft pool. Guessing that means some of those exciting '19 receivers are out already too? Tough one for me to judge but doesn't seem like a terrible deal on the surface.
