Had been trying to get a late 1st for a while. Offered Dez for pick 10 straight up even. With plenty of good rookie QB options this year, should be able to nab good value with these picks.
That’s a great trade for you. I would think in a superflex that most people would’ve been happy with just one of those picks, since so many people are down on Dez nowadays.

Traded Hurns for Pick 23 before Dez news. Still good with it.

Traded picks 15 and 22 in a devy depleted draft for Kenyan Drake.

Gave Agholor for Gio (PPC league)

12 team PPR, IDP massively rewarded (2 pts tackle 1 pt assist, 1 pt TFL, 4 pts FF or FR, 5 pts INT, 4 pts sack)

Gave : Tarik Cohen, 3.04

Received : Brandon Marshall LB, 3.08

I had just Cunningham, Mack (will he stay a LB ? I hope he will be a DE to pair with Lawrence) and Collins as potential starters with McMillan and N.Vigil as bench. Needed a top 15-20 LB and don't like this joystick RB ala Sproles. Brandon finished with 217 pts last year, good for the exact same score than Dion Lewis and just behind Duke. Equal to WRs like Cooks and Evans. Cohen had 177 pts. Plus we just start 1QB/2 RB/3 WR/1 TE. There are DL and DB flex but no offense flex. I've got Hunt, McCoy as starters plus 1.04 to grab a RB and Marlon Mack as a RB4.

Team 1 in my sig has won 2 of the last three championships

I gave:
1.12+2019 2nd

To get
a 2019 1st that I am 99.9% will be in the top two. The roster literally has nothing and the only pick they have in the first three rounds this year is my 1.12.

Thoughts?
Great Move. Unless the guy has 5 1sts this year that pick will be 2019 1.1.

You didn’t “give away” anything. What you did is “take advantage” of someone. I just dealt him for 1.8 which while I believe was a win for me, it wasn’t by much.

Re: 2018 Off-Season Trade Thread

Postby sugbear65 » Sun Apr 15, 2018 8:04 am

Just had our early rookie draft in one of my leagues. I had some specific targets, but would have had to reach for them where I was picking from. So I made some deals to move back, and while I may have still reached at least I got added value.
The league is a 12 team, superflex, .25pt per carry, PPR, 1.5ppr TE bonus

Trade 1- I gave 1.03(S. Michel) and 2020 1st, 2nd,3rd
I got 1.08(L. Jackson) and R. Gronkowski

Trade 2- I gave 1.11(Rosen)
I got 2.03(R. Freeman) and 2.04(M. Gesicki)

Trade 3- I gave 2 2019 4ths and a 5th
I got AJ McCarron

I really wanted to get Jackson, but felt like 1.03 was too early to pull that trigger. And I needed a TE with ASJ being my only option. So trading back and getting Gronk seemed like a no brainer to me.
I also wanted to end up with Freeman, and was planing on taking him at 1.11. I wasn’t planning on Rosen falling, but he was the last of the big 5 QBs left and I knew somebody would be interested in him. Personally I’m not the hugest fan, so I gambled on moving back a couple spots and picking up back to back 2nds. It worked in that I got my guy. Gesicki may have been a reach too, but with the bonus and nobody wanting to move up, I pounced on him.
The McCarron trade was sort of just a why not kinda trade.
