Cleveland Browns Get 2 of top 4 picks

So does dorsey's history in KC portend what happens in Cleveland long history of drafting defense/Oline early mean he ignores the offensive skill positions early. Until mahomes deal after which he was soon gone from KC (still quite odd timing) .... the highest skill position pick during his time in KC travis kelce with 1st pick of 3rd round (63) in 2013.
Does that mean he goes defense /oline heavy early and continue to ignore the qb position or does he trade for alex smith pound the defense and try to develop kizer . Was the relationship so frayed in KC trading for smith is out of the ?
how the hell can hue still have a job ? which is the all time blunder firing marty schottenheimer after a 14-2 season or keeping hue after going 1-31 ?

He never had a pick in the top half of the first round, so I doubt his drafting history means much. I suspect at least one of the two top five picks will be used on a skill position player.

except when he selected eric fisher with the 1st overall in the horrific 2013 1st round , other than that they were picking later so you may well be right I was just spitballing more than anything , I think they have to take a qb at 1:1 rather than waiting to the 1:4 simple reason if you like one enough to spend the 1:4 why even take a chance someone moves in front of you at 2 or 3 and takes your guy. Especially knowing the giants want one and the colts very much could trade out for multiple picks since they don't need a qb with luck and brissett assuming JB doesn't get moved pre draft. I have heard numerous people yakking about colts taking barkley at 1:3 that would be asinine since their Oline is mediocre at best , until they can protect luck/brissett and actually open holes in the run game taking a rb in a solid rb class at 3rd overall is moronic.

I was originally thinking the colts take Barkley at 1.03 but now that’s I’ve been thinking about how deep the RB class is, I think they pass on him at 1.03 and pick an RB at the start of the second. I think Barkley is still available at 1.04 for the Browns and they will take him there.

POLIAN is one of the best ever personnel guys IMHO the end wasn't pretty but guys like cato june gary brackett & robert mathis were just some of his non premium guys that really did well , there are many more .He had some misses everyone does but I have only one real fault with BP and that was sissyfying the game to tailor it to manning's strengths through his work on the competition committee.
Even though his jokes are old and his pop culture references are straight out of the 60s - the platters .... tony bennett ... he still could run circles around many a current GM evaluation wise !

Fair enough - I personally have to respect a guy who won (or almost won) every where he went.

Thinking about it again, it was definitely better. Just not as outstanding as some think. If he was outstanding they never would have had even a sniff at landing Luck.

I really hope we take one of: Quenton Nelson, Saquon, or Chubb.

Any OT would be a mistake, Roquan Smith would be a reach, and it's way too early for a 2nd RB or a WR/TE. Minkah is a stud but he's redundant since we have Hooker. Derwin James is sooo overrated.
