That long run early on showed some of his speed and agility. He's grown on me a lot.

Besides the size, he passes all the eye tests. I’m becoming a fan. Dude looks legit.

My question: what are you buying and selling for? The hype is starting to get real.

I know it’s early, but man... I’m willing to admit that I almost certainly was totally wrong on this dude. Lindsay is tiny, yes, but he is extremely quick & powerful AND fast. Great balance.

I still have no idea how much of a factor he can be for his career, but he’s definitely gonna stay in the league for a bit.

Welp he set a rookie record - first ever UDFA to record back to back 100 yard games (from scrimmage).

Its just crazy seeing someone so small pass the eye test so perfectly. And watching him finish runs, not try to juke or get fancy at the end, but lowering his shoulder.

He gets so skinny, and gets through the smallest of holes up the gut. Great vision.

I wouldn't sell, because won't get what he could be worth with Freeman there scaring potential buyers. I also wouldnt buy for the same reason unless I could get cheap.

He's basically a hold for me. But ride the hot hand like how Denver is in the meantime.

As a Lindsay owner, I certainly hope for more touches but I can't help but feel like there is a league wide stigma against guys his size, and that they can't handle a full RB1 workload. So while I am optimistic, I am prepping myself that he will end up becoming someone like Austin Ekeler. I was thinking of who was the last smallish RB to get a ton of touches on a regular basis and Warrick Dunn came to mind. He was listed at 5-9", 187 lbs and Lindsay is around 5-8", 165

The chances of Lindsay being a full-on bellcow are very slim. The hope is that he is able to carve out a lightning role to a guy like Freeman's thunder. Right now this is the perfect storm because Freeman isn't anything great. Lindsay is able to get significant touches without having to get every touch.

I'm thinking you try and add something to get to a 1st. I had an offer of Linsay + 1st + 2nd for Robinson. In that trade he is basically carrying late 1st value.

I sold him straight up for Njoku in one of my leagues after the Sunday game.

As others have said I thought he passes the eye test etc, but with his size, the rb situation in Denver, and my need at TE in that league I still gladly sold him for that price. Thanks @ OP for bringing him up though, I highly doubt I would have noticed him on waivers weeks ago without your post! :D

I've actually thought about doing the same thing. Not sure if I can pull the trigger, though.

Man, the more I watch him, the more I like him. I think we all know that his biggest "negative" is his size - but it's primarily due to his height, not necessarily his weight. Weighing 185 pounds at 5'7" does not make him overly skinny or frail even by NFL RB standards. And we've already seen him break tackles, pick up the blitz, pound the ball between the tackles, etc. - things that *smaller* running backs typically struggle with.

He actually reminds me a little bit of Alvin Kamara. Now obviously Kamara is bigger, but they both have that initial burst to make people miss & very, very good balance (an underrated trait for RBs). Kamara's balance is on another level, but I definitely see some similarities in Lindsay's game.

Let's just hope Denver continues to ride him to the tune of 12 - 15 carries and 3 - catches a game!
