M-Dub, thanks for pointing him out. Finding roster space for these guys is always tough, nothing wrong with being rational. I thought Freeman would have a few more weeks before having to defend his presumed primary back role.

Again, we won't know if Lindsay actually becomes a thing but it's hilarious to go back and see people say the dude is too small so he's not even worth the time. From the video below, doesn't look like the guy had too many problems running between the tackles.

I have been trying to buy hard. Offering a 3rd, but this is a huge overpay considering he hasn't produced much. I like the opportunity in that backfield and want to buy now before he firmly establishes value. Definitely a spec add at this point.
12 team, 35 man rosters, 1/2 PPR, 10 round rookie/FA draft
Qb: Geno Smith, Matthew Stafford, Trey Lance
Rb: Jonathan Taylor, Joe Mixon, Austin Ekeler, Saquon Barkley, Cam Akers, Isiah Pacheco, Jeff Wilson, Chase Edmonds, Pierre Strong, Jordan Mason, Jaleel McLaughlin
Wr: DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, Diontae Johnson, Darnell Mooney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Jakobi Meyers, Laviska Shenault, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Denzel Mims, Richie James, Michael Wilson, Demario Douglas, Trent Sherfield
Te: George Kittle, Darren Waller, Taysom Hill, Isaiah Likely

A 3rd is far from a huge overpay. I'd consider paying a late 2nd.

After a sample size of one game in a 3 back committee?

I agree that I think he is probably worth that.

Yeah so it's not like I love paying a 2nd for a guy after one game. I just think he has a skillset that will keep him performing even if he isn't the top RB option. I think buying him for a 3rd is a steal.

I have top waiver priority so I will get Lindsay if I want him. The only other player worth considering is Jonnu, but it's a standard scoring league so RBs are hugely valuable. Nice to see people are high about his potential role in the offense.

WR: A.J. Brown, Diggs, K. Allen, C. Watson, Cooks, Pickens, W. Robinson
TE: Kelce, J. Smith, Musgrave

M-Dub wrote: Sun Sep 09, 2018 9:12 pm You guys are better at following my advice than I am. Haha. I’m ashamed to say I sold him for $300 FAAB about a week before the season started. We have really shallow rosters and it didn’t look like I was gonna be able to keep him, so I was trying to stay rational and not let my CU homerism affect my dynasty team. Then McKinnon went down for the year and Shaheen got put on IR. FML.

I did manage to scoop up Nyheim Hines after one of our owners shockingly cut bait during roster cutdowns, so at least I still have the poor man’s Lindsay. 😢

Still really stoked for him as a Buffs fan (and, to a much lesser degree, a Broncos fan as well). Definitely gonna be targeting him as a waiver add in my redraft leagues.
Just want to say thanks M-dub. He was on my radar as soon as you posted the link, and I scooped him up about a month back after he went undrafted in our rookie draft. Started to follow him on twitter as well as he seems like a pretty good guy all round

I've got $38/100 of my FAAB dollars ready to bid on him... the next most enticing players are Dorsett ($11) and J. Cook (yuck)

What are y'all spending on Lindsay this waiver cycle?

^ To be clear, in a league with 35 man rosters, you can afford to chase talent/dart throws. Definitely different in 25 team leagues, etc. Context is important.

Denver fan here and a P. Lindsay owner since week 1 of the pre-season. I'm a big fan of his.

I like Lindsay a lot, but I think people need to temper expectations moving forward. Lindsay deserves to be the passing down back in Denver - they should just cut bait with Booker.

But he's undersized and is a long shot to unseat R. Freeman as the primary ball carrier. I think it's more than likely that his 15 week 1 carries end up being his season high.

I expect Lindsay to have a lot of weeks with 5-6 carries, 3-4 catches, and maybe 50 total yards from scrimmage. He should post some productive weeks, but I think he's got a long way to go before he becomes a reliable fantasy starter.
10-team/.5 PPR/5 Pts per Passing TD. Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2FLEX (rb/wr/te)
QB: J. Hurts, K. Murray
RB: Bi. Robinson, D. Henry, D. Achane, , J. Cook, Z. Charbonnet, T. Chandler, R. Johnson, K. Mitchell, J.K. Dobbins, T. Allgeier, J. McLaughlin, S. Tucker, T. Bigsby
WR: G. Wilson, B. Aiyuk, J. Waddle, T. Higgins,, Z. Flowers, Di. Johnson, K. Toney, A. Iosivas
TE: K. Pitts, E. Engram, C. Okonkwo, G. Dulcich
