Owning the 1.04 (via trade) and 1.11 in a 2 QB league I am definitely keeping my eyes peeled on these QB's .

I like B Mayfield, but Rosen and Darnold ranked higher everywhere. L Jackson if he pans out probably has the highest fantasy ceiling I would think .

At this point I'm confused. Lol

I personally like Rosen and Mayfield the best. I think Mayfield can end up being a Russell Wilson-type player due to similar mobility and arm strength. I own 1.02 but will probably go the route of RB, and try to trade back into the mid first and snag Rosen if possible. L. Jackson might be a player floating around and available in the second.

Then again I have no idea what to expect, as this will be my first rookie draft in a dynasty league, so take my input with a grain of salt..

I wonder if we'll see teams overdraft Lamar Jackson in real life and in fantasy.

With what Watson did in his limited playing time, others may be hoping Lamar can do the same...I just don't think they are comparable at this point. Jackson was/is much more of a runner and much less accurate in the passing game which another inaccurate passer had problems with too in the NFL, Kizer....and that hasn't worked out well.

Watson had a bad senior year in the eyes of the NFL and then lit up the Championship game, which still kept him away from the top of the draft. He still looks like he should be a starter for a long time, and possibly a star. Small sample size, so I wont rush to annoint him just yet. I have the 1.12 in a start 1 QB league (Luck, Rivers) and may consider grabbing one of them in that spot, which i usually do not do. I like the upside of most of this year's crop, so we will see where they end up.

Rosen's a Rock Star... he doesn't need the guys in the band around for the party. There isn't any room left in the hot tub anyhow :snooty:

I have the 1.3 and 1.10 in a 2qb. I’m really interested to see what happens with jackson myself. In the right spot I could see taking him at 3. The only hiccup for me would be if someone goes qb at 2 and Guice is there.

I may be missing something with Guice, but I haven’t seen anything that makes him the clear 1.02 yet. I would not come anywhere close to 1.03 with Lamar Jackson...guy has legs but a questionable passing skill set. The risk is very high.

I admittedly need to watch more on the class, especially QB given it is so meticulous a position, but I think Mayfield is getting held down by the Manziel stigma based on size and attitude. He looks promising based on what I’ve seen. He’s easily in my mindset at 1.06 and beyond currently for Superflex drafts. He had solid ball placement, mobility, and a strong Winners resume. Size is minimized with a good OC, and attitude is overplayed, assuming he doesn’t have substance issues (no such reports to date).

Im with you Ed, watching tape of Guice and nothing popped for me. I've tried but he doesn't seem to do anything worth the 1.02, I've currently got Chubb and Sony Michael ahead of him. Lamar Jackson is growing on me but I still have a few worries, 1.03 is too early for him as well

If Todd Haley does end up in Cleveland i actually like the potential of whichever Qb they draft. Have to think they try and get Barkley at 4 too creating Cleveland version of Steelers Big Ben, Bell Brown trio.

Don't think Barkley will drop to 1.04. The Colts will take him at 1.03. It's the best way to help Andrew Luck, giving him a dangerous RB who will keep Ds honest and also a great pass catcher. Their o-line was as much a result of injuries as talent. If they get healthy and make a few good picks in the early rounds and maybe spend a bit in FA, they can shore up their o-line. With Luck, Hilton, Doyle and Barkley, that will be a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Though knowing the Colts, they might trade their 1.03 for Philip Dorsett and the Patriots 1.32.

:lol:

Lol true. Logically Barkley does make sense to take pressure off of Luck and compensate for the oline

Will be interesting to see if this is the first time in almost 20 years that 5 QBs go in the 1st round, or if it is more likely to be similar to one of the several 4 QB drafts

* - Brees was a 2nd round pick
