I have "the leg" as well and I'm able to pick someone else up, however I'm pissed I need to so I can understand your frustration and hope you're able to pull out the victory even though you're screwed by a crappy rule

I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around your process. This harkens back to the USAToday days when you had to call in rosters to the commissioner as well as any moves you wanted to make. Since the advent of the internet (and most notably the widespread use of the web), this process is about as functional as a threshing floor.

Some of you guys have some terrible rules. You should be able to pick up a player right up until his team kicks off. I don't understand the purpose of locking waivers in the playoffs or locking them on a Tuesday.

Bad rule, but it is a rule. If people had an issue it should have been brought forward prior to this. As an owner you have to play knowing your rules and cover your bleep. I think you got to deal with it as it is and accept some blame as tough as it is.

exactly what I was thinking ... what if you don't put enough postage on the envelope and lineup gets returned ?
what if pony express runs low on oats and horses are too tired to haul the mail to the commish ?
what if the creek rises and the pony express horse and rider drowns in route !
but as others said a rule is a rule , the application should be consistent but what a jacked up system !

What a horrible rule. Have your waivers or free agent bidding. Anyone not picked up by the time decided (Wednesday morning for us) becomes first come first serve

If cutoff is midnight Tuesday/Wednesday then no one should be able to do anything after that, if people can plmake transactions after the deadline why even have it? Just make it midnight Wednesday/Thursday if people can still make move on Wednesday

Probably shouldn't be playing a game with as much randomness as fantasy football if you get this livid and have anxiety over a roster transaction involving a kicker.

It's not a new rule. Looks like you made sure you had backups at your other positions. Kicker should be no different. When transactions process doesn't change that there's a rule in place and you didn't prepare your roster for it.

lol, I've been seeing a couple of posts like these. I don't understand what the point of the rule is.

Kickers (and defenses, unless IDP) should be banned from all leagues anyways. It sucks, but that is why I started getting really picky about leagues I joined, starting a few years ago. It gets people's panties in a bunch when they ask me to join, and I carefully read all the by- laws and tell them no thanks. They seem to really take offense to when you say things like, I don't agree with waivers closing on Tuesday, so rather than complain when the inevitable happens I rather not join your league. But I hear ya on the frustration, fantasy has some terrible luck combined with some leagues with terrible rules too.

Stupid rule for sure but knowing this could happen should've keep a back up kicker especially in the playoffs
