Britt to NEP

Postby trc » Thu Dec 14, 2017 12:11 pm

Surprised the topic hasn't been created already - perhaps he just aint that interesting?

However, what are you guys take on this move by the Pats?

I liked Britt quite a lot when he was with the Titans, but he never seemed to pull it fully together or is bad QB to blame as well?

Must admit I'm intruiged by this signing. He is a big bodied WR, something they imo have used Gronk as so far.

He's just not a great talent. He won't do anything for the rest of the regular season then he'll catch a long TD or something in the playoffs and people will start salivating and trying to "buy low" on him all offseason then he'll become Brandon Lafell 2.0 but with less of a target share and everyone who bought in will be disappointed.

He's their no.4 WR option behind Cooks, Hogan, Dolan and tied with Dorsett for 4th.

Meaning he's also behind Gronk, Dion, White, Burkhead

So, the 8th receiving option. I'll pass
Watson Goff Purdy
Pierce Swift Robinson Conner Patterson
Hill Lamb Pittman Williams Renfrow Samuel
Hockenson Knox Kmet Schultz

Meh. I'd consider stashing him over guys like Christine Michael and Ben Watson though.

It's enough to pick him up for free and stash him, in a 12-team league. Just like Justin hunter to Pittsburgh, Kamar Aiken to the Colts, etc. But prepare to cut him in the offseason.
