My best all play is 73.4% (105/143) this season, I had another team ahead of me at the end of regular season (75.5%). Both of us have 4 high scoring weeks. I also had 3 crappy weeks finishing bottom 3, 4 & 5 resp. That bit into my all play record.

Team in sig had a regular season all-play of 90.9% last season (lost in week 15). Team in sig has 86% regular season this year and heading into week 15. So of course here comes a loss

I have a team that I was nervous about posting about, in fear I would Jynx myself and get knocked out in the semis. But it is a 12 Team SF devy league. This is the 2nd season. Ran the table in the regular season 13-0, and earned a 1st round bye. Managed to claim most points scored in 10 of the 13 weeks during reg season, the bye week last week, and with MNF left of this week I am firmly in 1st. So going into this week my all play record was 145-9 (.942)

14-0 after this week, went undefeated last year as well. The #2,3,4 teams are all pretty close to each other. I honestly need to replace one more owner though because he isn't cut out for this anymore

Wtf... for me to match/beat 96.8% in my 13-week season 10-team league, I'd have to go 114-3 against everyone... so I'd have to be the top scorer 10 of 13 weeks, and #2 for those other 3 weeks. Even a #5 finish one week in an otherwise perfect season would single-handedly lose it for me. I feel like that's legitimately impossible in my league, like there's too many variables to screw up coming so close to perfection, but maybe you have deeper starting lineups that negate that variability a little bit. And you won the ship in '15 and '16 too? Congrats.

Just curious for those of you with the dominant all play %'s (especially in consecutive years)... has it affected the league at all? Like has it demoralized other owners or made them care less? I ask cause I finished this season with a league all-time record of 84.6% this year (this is our 4th year), and last year I won the ship with 72.6% (3rd best all-time). I'll be looking to repeat next week against a guy who just lost Antonio Brown and Davante Adams, so I'm a heavy favorite.

And I partially feel guilty about it. Like, not actually guilty, but after bragging about my championship last year, I've done very little/no bragging this year. I feel like a few owners are frustrated that I've hit such a good hot streak with young talent. But (assuming I win) I'm gonna put some of my winnings this year towards finally getting a long-overdue trophy for the league, which I feel like everyone will appreciate. Not that I need to do it, but I want to. Although to some it might look narcissistic since the trophy would currently be mine, but whatever to those people lol.

Anyway, not sure where I'm really going with this but needed to rant a bit to share my thoughts. Anyone else go through that thought cycle like me?

Short answer no. I had a great year two years ago (81%) and this year (85%), but, again, if I won this year it'd be my first time winning the league. (I'm in the finals vs. the 6 seed). I think the small sample size of the playoffs helps people win with inferior teams, so people don't mind as much when someone has a wagon. I mean, get in and you have a chance.

Are you guys taking out the playoff weeks? Mine are always higher after those (because half the league stops setting rosters)

Just looked up my all-plays

2013 .706
14 .579
15 . 659, .657
16 .651, .678
17 .536, .685

Just got to championship with .536 / other guy has AB. Maybe I'll win first championship with weakest team I've had :D

Fair point from you (and maxhyde earlier as well). I think there's still a little truth to what I said, but I realized it was some knee-jerk "hindsight" overreacting on my part after thinking about it more. I mean, if Gurley hadn't single-handedly carried me to the championship this week, then the thought probably wouldn't have even crossed my mind lol. If I win it all I'll be our league's first repeat winner (and first 2-timer as well), so I guess my thought was that it may cause people to start unfairly viewing the league through a different lens.

Our 10-team league has a 6-team playoff at the end of the season, and while I find it very annoying that a 6-7 team (or even 5-8 possibly!) can crawl into the playoffs and run the table against the 11-2/10-3 big dogs... it certainly has all my friends excited for fantasy every year, and for that reason I love it. Even the "rebuild" teams know they have a shot if the dominoes fall their way.

I will add to this as well. I was 148-17, 89.7% this year and made the finals. I have only lost 7 regular season games in the last 4 years, but have only 1 title for it (maybe 2 after this week). I got waxed 2 years ago in semis by a middling team who had their best week ever. Same scenario last year as well. Those two loses keep people engaged and show the rest of the league that a dominant team like mine can get beat on any given week. We have not had any turnover in the past 6 years. The team I play in the finals this week didn't even make the playoffs last year helping the "anyone can do it" narrative.

What's the best All - Play record you guys have ever posted?

Team 1 in my signature has the highest win rate vs. all teams all weeks in the 9 year history of our league. It was a confluence of factors - I built the best roster I've ever had, there were a ton of injuries to studs across the league (all of which I've luckily ducked so far) and the league is pretty even otherwise. There were two powerhouse teams, and the other really good team lost DJ for the season and Elliot to suspension for a big chunk of the year.

On the MFL app its easily accessible under Reports > Standings > Power Rank; then it's all the way to the right.

Anyway I went 11-2 and won 85.2% of all potential matchups through the regular season.

Buuuuut, I've never won the league and will probably lose in the finals again. Wahhhh.
Took home the ship! Thank you Mr. Gurley (x2)
