Rather than focus too much on touches, limited sample size, etc - and numbers, watch him play. Just watch his vision, explosiveness, assertiveness, pass catching ability, and his BLOCKING. He is (at least to my eyes) the real thing and from what I've seen, he will be the primary ball carrier in that offense moving forward. He doesn't need 20 plus touches to be fantasy relevant. He could easily be a low end rb1 in fantasy with 15 touches per game. He passes the eyeball test. He isn't a sell unless you are getting a mid first. Technically, everyone is a sell if the price is right.

lets play a game of "who ya got" in rookie picks 10-15.....drake would not "lead" the conversation this offseason imo. keep in mind that i drafted him right outside the top 15, and "buy in to" the talent....ive held on to rb's, traded for them before they broke....and can overall....appreciate this "break out".

ive been wrong...but if we stick to the "dynasty philopahy"...buy low and sell high on rb's...this is prime.

Looks pretty legit to me. Makes some unbelievable cuts and seems to see the open space with the speed to get there. I think he will be a late 1st type player this offseason. Be paying that for him before a mid-2nd for Collins but likely letting both of those guys just play on other teams

He has looked good the past few weeks. I only own him in one league, and multiple times I have nearly cut him to fill a lineup. However, I am glad I didn’t because he has looked pretty solid when given the opportunity. I’m not buying that he will be the lead back for years to come...but I think he could lead a RBBC 70-30% and still produce RB2 numbers with those touches. And to be fair, how many RBs aren’t in a committee nowadays? There are so few bellcows these day.

I traded Terence Williams and Julius Thomas for Drake and Prich in the off-season. I look like a damn fortune teller at this point. I tried moving him to a contender last week for a late first and a prospect but got rejected. And boy am I glad I did!!! He will be a legit RB2 next year and potentially a RB1. This kid has looked like a stud.

What is Kenyan Drake’s value in picks?

Postby joeday » Thu Apr 19, 2018 5:37 am

With the Dolphins signing Gore and they were sniffing around CJA earlier, is anyone spooked by Drake? What is his value in draft picks?

As an owner, I'd sell for late 1st/early 2nd. But buyers will only offer late 2nd/3rd (from what I've seen)

He's worth a 2nd.

I’d pay an early 2nd after looking at my current rookie rankings. I think he gets company but even with that company he still has some value.

I would be hard pressed to even consider anything more than a 2nd. Even then, other RBs I would rather target.

I sold for 1.10 and I think that is probably peak value. (Then I flipped the 1.10 again).

I wouldn't move him for a 2nd though. What RB can you get for a 2nd with better opportunity? Gore is a red herring on Drake's value. Drake's ability to stay healthy and whether he can carry a full load are what will determine his usage. Gore is an insurance policy on Drake, not an indictment of him. He also is supposedly adding muscle and bulking up in an attempt to be a 3-down back.

He is in that flux area where this time next year he catapults in value or falls back to full-time committee/backup value.

Buy: 2nd or later
Sell: Late first

The Drake owner is offering me Drake for 2.2 and Booker...Booker means nothing to me but 2.2 still has decent value.
