A guy in my kid's dynasty league (5 years old) on MFL claims he is in over 100 on their message board. Being the parent I am, I showed my son how to step in and call BS. It's massive $35 league too, but he brought it up during a trade offer to try to show value on his offering.

I am in only 4 Dynasty leagues now and a couple big redrafts. I also help a couple rich schmucks in their leagues for 20% of profits, and that actually takes up almost more time than my own leagues.

The most leagues I've participated in during a single season was 5 and I hated every second of it. Even at that number there was no fun in it at all. After that point, I put my limit at 3. I am now at only one dynasty league and I won't join any more. I did join a redraft league this year at my church. First year playing for many of the owners. Joined the league to be able to know some of the men from the church a little better but I don't really care for the redraft format.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I prefer 2, but I'll do 3 a decent amount with 1 being re-draft. I did 4 once and it completely ruined the fun for me. I get super invested in my leagues and just couldn't do that with that many

2 Dynasty, in Sig, plus two redraft. One being an auction 2 player keeper league- all with friends. That is probably my limit- even for team 2 in my dynasty it is best ball and only a few waivers a year- so the maintenance is mostly the draft and trades.
I like having two dynasty teams that I can always keep an eye on- as well as having two redraft leagues in case both my dynasty teams suck!

I'm in 3 leagues and that is my max. I have my friend redraft, friend dynasty, and high stakes dynasty. That is the max I can handle from a player rooting perspective.

You're kidding, right ? A 5 year old kid is in a dynasty league ? How is that even possible ?

2 dynasty 1 redraft. Wouldn't want to do more than 3 dynasty but I'm in no rush for a third.

Basketball I'm in 8 redraft leagues. That's more free flowing though.

I can only focus on about 3, I am in 5 currently. Two dynasties, and three redrafts. After the first couple weeks, I got burnt out of the redraft. I managed to keep lineups valid and fielded one competitive team but mining the waiver wire felt like a chore.

I think I'm in like 14, but as mentioned already, it doesn't really take that much more time past a point. A few are best ball and most have deep enough rosters/team sizes that I don't have to play the waiver wire that hard. Most reading/research I do just applies to all leagues, so it really comes down to setting lineups. Normally, once before Thursday and then an hour before kickoff I'll just open the submit lineup tab for each league and do my thing.

I do also like to have the same players in as many places as possible, which makes things easier.

Oh, and once you have enough leagues, you don't get as caught up on the conflicts of wanting player X to do better than player Y.

6 football, one baseball and one basketball (all dynasty). I had a lot more fun and was much more involved at around 2-3 leagues, and I'll probably get back to that eventually. My problem when I had one league is that I tended to "over-manage" it because I like to be active, plus I had a small addiction to start-up drafts. H2H starts to become less fun the more you stretch out, though. There's definitely a balance to it, but it's going to be different from person-to-person.

I have 1 dynasty and usually 1-2 redraft. Might look to do a startup dynasty next year as I will be in the 5th year of my other league

Im acutally quite surprised that the avg is around 2-3 dyansty leagues. I would have thought It would have been more. I am in two dynasty leagues, and 1 keeper friends league. And with that I feel it is enough. I somethimes miss out in one league cause im doing better in antoher and focusing on it more. I dont think I could take on any more.

Depends on the person. I do 2 dynasty and 2 redraft. I'm probably going to cut down to 1 redraft, but that's what I said before the season.
