Trade veto

I like the veto rule but in this case it appears to have gone very wrong. Send them links to dynasty rankings and try to reason with them. Is this a PPR league?

Yuck. That's a bad trade, but a dreadfully awful rule

The league gets to decide what to do with your team. I would leave, or at least yell a lot in the off season to get that rule changed

A veto should be a commissioner held rule in their back pocket preferably never used, but there as a threat, pulled out only for collusion, someone taking drastic advantage of a new owner, or something so God-awful the only reasonable explanation you can come up with on your own is that they had the player's names mixed up

Cooper, the 1.1 pick a few years ago who's shown flashes but also underperformed, for this year's 1.1 does not fit that bill

If a league wants to have a veto rule with a league vote, it should be a unanimous vote of everyone not involved with the deal. That way one rational owner who says "well, it's not a great deal for the other guy, but it's not so bad as to go nuclear" can stop the process

if your having a veto policy, i like how its set up...unfortunately you dont have owners mature enough to handle it. a real bummer that this has happened and clearly not veto worthy.

That would be my last year in that league. Find a league that properly handles vetoes.
