Corey Coleman trade value

I'm trying to figure out what this guy is worth, and more importantly, if I want him.

I am thinking I can likely get him for a mid 2nd and 3rd. But how do we feel about him? QB situation scares, J. Gordon getting his bleep together also scares me, and I don't just another WR4/5 on my team, I'm hoping for stable flex value. Also, if I were to get him, I can likely consolidate a few of my WR3-6's to a WR1/2 which is my ultimate goal as I absolutely HATE having too many WR4-6's and picking the wrong one to start.

His ceiling? His floor? and finally, a realistic expectation.

That's fair. If its okay - wondering what your read on him as a player is? where is his ceiling/floor with this atrocious offense? Kizer is clearly not ready, and they may very well draft a WR or trade for one. If he eventually plays 3rd-4th fiddle to Gordon (or whoever they draft early at WR) Njoku, and their running back (current or future) is a 3rd-4th option on the Browns for the forseeable future worth it?

I ask because if we're thinking future, he would just mix in with guys like Watkins, Crowder and C. Davis for the next year or two.

Also, I say I CAN get him for that, because I believe so. Owner was ready to pull the trigger last week if I also included Njoku and my 2019 second, which I felt was asking too much as Njoku (imo) can have just as a meaningful fantasy role as Coleman on the Browns...

... unless of course the Browns somehow get their bleep together, which is proving to look unlikely as the years roll along.

I think his ceiling is Brandin Cooks or TY Hilton. His floor is what we've seen from John Brown and Tyler Lockett when they've been healthy.

He will never be 3rd or 4th in line for targets. 2nd at worst.

Completely agree with this. This is an absurdly cheap price. If I were an owner I wouldn't even consider anything outside of a top 5 pick as a starting point. I don't share the concern about him being the "3rd-4th" option for the Browns when he's the best WR on the team even with the return of Gordon.

Browns end there qb problems in draft and Coleman is worth a mid first at worst i would pay 2/3. All day

He was completely dropped in my league a few weeks ago. League has roster size of 24 and we keep 18 a season. I was thrilled to scoop him up off waivers and really believe that he will be a solid player in this league, especially if Cleveland lands a QB.

He is talented enough that you would have drafted with a top 2-4 rookie pick that year. Despite injuries to him & Kizer poor play. He has looked explosive off the line & creates separation. The Browns have the draft capital to make improvements if needed. I feel Kizer will look improved with Coleman, Gordon,Djoku & Duke catching passes!! Hold on longer & I feel you’ll be glad you did.
