This year I traded Z. Ertz away because I had Greg Olsen, Greg Olsen went down the next week. Then this past week I traded for Chris Thompson from the same guy to try and solidify my RB spot. Needless to say I'm gonna not trade with him for awhile lol

one thing I hate is,you pick up a free agent and hes been puttting up mid double digit scoring for three weeks in a row,and the week you play him he puts up 2 or three! :wall:
Or you roster Chris Thompson and somehow only start him during his bad weeks. :wall:

I have literally started Cooper every week except the one week he blew up where I own him. Of his 114.4 points, 44 came in one game which I did not get..

Traded away Cooper for cheap right before his one big game of the year.

Traded for Ty Mont 11 minutes before the rib injury.

Traded for DFree just before this last concussion.
Cleveland is very bad. Admittance is the first step...

Threads like this are therapeutic.

All of this happened to just one of my teams:
- Traded for ARob and Luck before the season started. Lost D.Johnson early.
- Despite that I still have by far the most points scored total thanks to a stacked roster that includes Wentz, Bell, Gurley, AJG, Keenan, Diggs, Hill, Engram. Except...
- ... also have the most points against. Sitting at a record of 5-6 and out of the playoffs.
- Week before K.Benjamin was traded to the Bills I traded Funchess and 2 mid/late 2nds for what looked like a top 5 pick. Since then the owner of that pick has gone on a winning streak playing the easiest schedule and currently sits in first place. Owner of one of the 2nds has since tanked and could possibly end up last.

My dynasty teams have held up so far (knock on wood), but in one of my redraft leagues I lost David Johnson, ARob, Corey Coleman, TyMo, and Danny Woodhead all within the first few games of the season. Woody is back and so is TyMo (kind of), but man the injury bug hit me hard this year.

RB: K. Hunt, L. Miller, T. Coleman, J. McKinnon, R. Burkhead I. Crowell, D. Foreman, D. Woodhead, L. Murray, J. Allen, E. Lacy, S. Ware
WR: A. Brown, J. Jones, K. Allen, D. Baldwin, D. Thomas, J. Maclin, P. Richardson, C. Beasley, C. Conley, R. Louis, C. Godwin

Love this thread!

I lost Cook, AROB, and Jordy (w/out Rodgers), but guys like Kamara stepped up, so I made some moves to get into a better spot to win NOW by getting Landry and Wilson.

Granted I have no picks next year, but 3 potential studs coming back.

I love my crazy ex-girlfriend....not really she was nuts.

 True

Also, I can't think of any specific player trades or anything that have burned me, but in one league I'm the 3rd highest in scoring, but 10th place (out of 12) in this league with the 2nd most points scored against me. It's ridiculous.

I lost OBJ, ARod, Cook for the year. Freeman got concussed, TyMo broke his ribs and lost his job. Martavis whined too much and lost his job to JuJu. The few games I had my entire team together and healthy I was the 2nd highest scoring team. Since losing ARod, I'm the 3rd lowest scoring team.

In my buddies league, I had by far the most points scored last season but finished miles out of the playoffs. This season, I've lost OBj, ARob, Foreman, Samuel, and have been starting the guy wearing Cooper's uniform. I punted 2018 by trading Shady and Kelce for the auction buck equivalent of the 1.01 plus. Since then I've gone on a winning streak (starting guys like Inman, Ebron, Cutler and Yeldon) and I'm sitting in a playoff spot. My trading partner has belly flopped and now looks like he's out of it...

Players on IR or suspended in my SF league: Rodgers, Zeke, DJ, OBJ. We have 1 IR slot. Jameis is out too, but not much of a loss this season

Played short an IDP several weeks due to byes/injuries so I wouldn't have to drop my rookie core dev players (Davis, Mixon, OJ). Still had to drop both Mack and Foreman avoid missing multiple starters some weeks

On the positive side, I had Wentz as a backup and drafted Kamara.

Somehow still the highest scoring team in the league and currently in 3rd headed into week 12...and could finish the regular season anywhere from 1st to 8th (10 team) depending how the next 2 weeks play out
Team 1 (10 Team .5 PPR Roster=25)
1-2 QB, 2-5 WR, 2-4 RB, 1-3 TE, 4 IDP
QB: ARod, Jameis, Wentz, Trubisky, Mahomes
WR: OBJ, Hopkins, Baldwin, Watkins, C Davis, JJSS, JGord
RB: DJ, Zeke, Howard, Kamara, Mixon, Henry
TE: Graham, Howard
IDP: Deion Jones, Martinez, Shazier, R Foster

Team 2 (10 Team .5 PPR Roster=25)
1-2 QB, 2-5 WR, 2-4 RB, 1-3 TE, 4 IDP
QB: Wentz, Eli, Trubisky, Mahomes, Gabbert
WR: AB, Watkins, E Sanders, C Davis, M Williams, Doctson, JGord
RB: DJ, Le'Bell, Howard, Mack, Jones
TE: Kelce, Howard
IDP: DeJo, L Collins, R Foster, Ragland

Team 3 (12 Team .5 PPR Roster=26)
QB, 2-5 WR, 2-4 RB, 1-3 TE, 2 CB, 2DE, 2LB
QB: Wentz, Mahomes
WR: Jordy, Keenan, M. Jones, C Davis, M Williams, Kupp, C Coleman
RB: Cook, Ingram, Kamara, Abdullah, Woodhead, Burkhead, D'Onta, Drake, Booker
TE: Kelce, Evan Engram
IDP: DL Mack, Clowney DB Hyde, Ha Ha LB DeJo, R Foster (start 2 each)
