Did a search for 2018 nfl draft mocks... first three have Niners taking him(walter, sec, abc). NBC sports has Tampa taking him.

Ted Thompson is a horrible, stubborn GM. He'll just keep telling everyone that you don't need to spend any capital on a running back while wasting the career of one of the greatest QBs in nfl history.

I don't think he'll fall outside the top 10. The Browns have potentially 2 picks in the top 10, I could see them using 1 of the picks on Saquon for sure. Depends how they feel about the QBs, maybe they like a few QBs and take Quon #1 and take best QB available with their second top 10 pick? Seems like a standard move for the Browns to make after passing on so many QBs over the past couple drafts.

I love the idea of the browns taking Lamar and Barkley
Jackson
Barkley Duke Johnson Crowell
Gordon Coleman
Njoku

Seems like their best route

i would prefer this over the Browns.. If the Browns take Rosen and Barkley i would be a lot happier..
Barkley for President - 10 Teams, 23 Man Rosters, QRRWWWTFDK, Cap is $852 this year and Increases by 5% each year while each players contract goes up by 20% each year. Players can be signed 5 years at a time max unless a rookie, which is 3 if drafted. If won in auction can be 5 years. Can only extend a player once, EX signifies that player is Extended. Devy players count against cap as well.

QB - Jameis Winston EX 2YRS at $42 and Sam Darnold 2YRS at $14

RB - Saquon Barkley 2YRS at $35, Dalvin Cook 1YR at $17, Rex Burkhead 1YR at $4, Ty Montgomery 3YRS at $14, Damien Williams 1YR at $2, Royce Freeman 2YRS at $10

WR - Amari Cooper EX 5YRS at $50, Sammy Watkins EX 3YRS at $60, Golden Tate 1YR at $60, Devante Parker EX 1YR at $35, Kenny Golladay 4YRS at $2

TE - Travis Kelce EX 5YRS at $52, Austin Hooper 2YRS at $12

D/ST - Rams 1YR at $2, Chiefs 1YR at $3

K - Stephen Gostowski 1YR at $3

I own Pick 3.9 in a Devy depleted Rookie/Devy Draft.

Sleeper draft spot:

Denver Broncos.

At 4-9 and 0-6 on the road, they could easily finish at 4-12 and be in prime position to draft Barkley.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

They won't take him because they need a QB.

I believe Elway will sign a veteran QB in FA, should be plenty on the market this offseason between Eli/Cousins/Bradford/Bridgewater/Garopollo/Brees. I think he still has a sour taste in his mouth over the last couple of QBs he has drafted and will shy away from blundering another QB draft pick.
