This to me is the bigger concern and the part that sucks the most.
Players want to play, I heard that he may have been dealing with this for a few weeks and it finally tore.

Hopefully he nor the organization rushes him back. Things could get sketchy if he comes back before his body has healed.

He will not be ready by week 1. Personal opinion, but have torn my ACL twice and if it's the same knee as before, it's more work the second time. But then again my doctors were nothing like his. Hate seeing a good guy go down like that especially after breaking the record and all that jazz. Shares of hopkins get knocked, don't think anyone can start fuller the rest of the year, and possible the running game reverts to last year where Miller is a low end rb2. Hoping the best for a speedy recovery.

I was among the last remaining doubters of his talent (or at the very least, of his arm strength), but it sucks to hear about this all the same. Wishing the kid a full, speedy recovery.

I'm just here for the shower cry. Was able to get him before he became unattainable. A buy once again.

Sorry if it's been said, was this the same ACL he tore in college?

Deshaun Watson without Hopkins

Postby JJRules » Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:15 am

Is anybody worried about Watson with his post-Hopkins "WR corps"? I use that term loosely, as he's now left with a bunch of injury-plagued WR2s or worse.

He was supposed to headline my QBs in our first year of superflex, and now I'm legitimately concerned.

No. He's a superstar. He'l still produce. They may need to spread the ball around more, and grab a red zone type WR, but he's too good to not produce IMO.

Somewhat worried. Say what you want about Hopkins maybe losing a step...but he's someone at least Houston could count on to be active on gameday. He's missed what, 2 games across 7 years? Can't say that for the rest of the WR corps. They'll need to address the position.

You gotta get Watson more help now, likely during the draft.

I'd be shocked if they don't take a wideout during the draft.

Then again, it is Coach/GM OB, so maybe they draft all linemen and 3 kickers.

I'm grabbing Coutee everywhere I can LOL

I think Watson will have some growing pains this year but be fine overall. Keep an eye out for what WR HOU snags in the 2nd now... deep class and could be getting Watson's new #1. I don't think it'll be Fuller.

Will be fascinating to see who rises at WR for the Texans. Keke - you still alive dude!? I'm betting they draft a WR or two.
