I don't expect him to be the next Brady (NE didn't either), but a borderline top 10 QB fantasy each year ala Stafford would be great, since Teddy B. will never fill the old waitings.

I think it'll end up working out for San Francisco, but I'd be pretty worried if I were someone in the 49ers organization. If he crashes and burns then he's likely bringing a lot of people with him. That's a ton of money for a half season. He's much better than Osweiler, though, so I don't think this will end the same way.

I don't know about him being elite but I've seen enough from those 5 games that he's unlikely to bust. He took a team with 1 win and went 5-0, he's good.
