It will still be hard to start Coop next week, you know he will probably have a letdown and Oakland plays at Buffalo, who has a solid D.

Last game I watched, they were talking about how much of his decision making is next level stuff, chess while others are playing checkers, so seeing someone with great ability "and" good decision making .

About Lynch: some of y'all need to think critically here. Lynch is semi-retired; you have to consider that he might just not really care about the ejection and guaranteed suspension. He's been in the league a long time, and he had never done something like this before. Pretty damn sure the shove was a calculated decision. I think he was trying to fire up his 2-4 team in a crucial divisional match-up, and frankly the offense doesn't really need him all that much.

As for bringing cops and those politics into this, good god, my eyes are rolling so hard at you. Lynch shoving a zebra has effing zip to do with minorities being upset with police these last few years for their conspicuous tendency to shoot them when they're unarmed. And that's the last I speak of this nonsense.

Lack of respect for authoritive figures in today's world, just a simple example with Lynch coming off the sideline and then getting in the ref's face for no reason and putting his hands on him.
Come on man, we don't care about your political/personal opinions - please don't derail the thread.
Who is being "political"?

He had Vernon, Crabs, delanie Walker and Gore and could barely pick up first downs.

You mention Walker as if SF ever used him correctly (and that ain't on Smith). Walker's career in Tennessee is an embarrassment to every OC that had Walker as a 49er.

Misuse of personnel on offense was a theme during Smith's time in SF.

Oh my god. I've just realized something.

This is actually a good Thursday night football game!

I don't think Conley's getting his starting job back next season.

Coopers drops have been frustrating, but he's found a way to catch a few tonight. For anybody unable to watch the game, Cooper's long TD catch was a thing of beauty and the video can be viewed here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZtSA9lGfk8
