Ricardo Louis
Thoughts on Louis? Opportunity abounds and there seems to be plenty of garbage points to be had. What are is consensus on long term potential?

Re: Ricardo Louis
CLE has the 31st hardest schedule vs opposing pass defenses ..
28th hardest vs. opposing pass defenses (when adjusted to leave out garbage time stats) ..
2nd Half Hogan went for 16/19 for 194 yards, 2 TD:1INT, had 3 explosive pass (plays +15yds), 122.4 Rating, 63% successful play rate, 84% pass completion percentage, with avg YPA 10.2
Young QB's with >60% with >8 YPA often make it in this League, of course this is a very small sample size, one half of football, but its promising to monitor .. I think Hogan brings rhythm and timing to the offense with a quicker release time ..
2nd Half, Ricardo Louis had 5 targets, 3 completions, for 43 yards, avg 8.6, 2 First downs, 1 Explosive play
I think short term with Hogan, the question is, does Louis consistently show up where he is supposed to be, on time and open .. so moving forward with Hogan we really have to determine how good of a route runner he is, with Kizer, he held onto the ball so long, that plays were extended where it became more playground than a timing rhythm .. which would benefit a bigger guy that doesn't excel at routes ..
I am curious myself, but to me I think the guy who is where he is supposed to be is going to rise in the offense, I tend to lean to an inside game with their strength of schedule .. Looking to Higgins or Treggs..
Louis has good size and speed, 215 @ 4.43 ..

Re: Ricardo Louis
He's worth a roster spot for sure. He's way better than Higgins and Britt. Coleman isn't due back anytime soon.
Re: Ricardo Louis
A lot of stat guys on Twitter have been digging into Hogan (as expected) and his numbers are coming out pretty darn positive.....
I wonder if he's going to become a thing?

Re: Ricardo Louis
He got my attention when he was at Stanford, always thought he could be something..
A note on Britt is like he is the opposite of however we define "clutch" ..

I owned Louis earlier in the year and end up dropping him because I wanted to pick up A Jones a few weeks ago. Didn't have room for both.
I just traded K White for Louis. Even if Louis flops, the weight of getting rid of White is a blessing within itself.

Have a fellow league mate who REFUSES to admit White is done. His team is loaded and he will not drop White. Currently stashing him on IR even though he has OBJ (we only have 1 IR spot). I find this hilarious.Jpalladino91 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 11:54 am I owned Louis earlier in the year and end up dropping him because I wanted to pick up A Jones a few weeks ago. Yea, I didn't have an extra IR spot after Cook went down, so White was taking up roster space. Considering he's making about $850k per catch over 3 years I think it's time we call him a bust.MarcoPolo25 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:36 pmHave a fellow league mate who REFUSES to admit White is done. Had my eye on him for my last couple roster spots, but got Jordan Matthews and then Lewis instead.
That Browns team is horrid now and likely for a few more years, but he might be decent.

Re: Ricardo Louis
I think he'll be more useful rest of season than many do, especially if Hogan is the starter. Limited upside, but in a PPR league with deep lineups I think he'll be a guy you can plug in and get you 12-15pts on a semi-regular basis. With bye weeks in full swing and injuries mounting up, I think he can be a pretty solid piece to fill the gaps in your roster and give your team a slightly higher floor from week to week.
