Survivor Week 6
A lot of big home favorites this week, so hopefully it ends up being as easy as it looks.
Atlanta vs Miami: Falcons favored by 11. Only question here is if Julio and Sanu can't go, will the RB tandem plus Gabriel be enough?
Baltimore vs Chicago: Ravens favored by 7. Trubisky getting his second start on the road, and the Baltimore passing offense seemed to get going last week.
Houston vs Cleveland: Texans favored by 9.5. Who starts at QB for the Browns? Does it matter?
New England @ NY Jets: Pats favored by 9.5. Divisional road game. Even if I hadn't already used NE, I'd probably stay away.
Washington vs San Fran: Redskins favored by 9.5. West coast team traveling east for an early start.
Denver vs NY Giants: Broncos favored by 12. Giants have no WRs left. Can't see them having even a chance here.
Who do you got this week?
I've used Pittsburgh, Oakland, New England, Seattle, and Philadelphia so far. I'm currently leaning towards Denver, but considering Atlanta, Baltimore, and Houston as well.

Re: Survivor Week 6
Denver is already locked into my entry this week.
Agree with Fanatic above that the Baltimore/Bears game is a little iffy. It is looking like the Raves are starting to put things together, but I want to see them play well for a week or two before relying on them.
Also, Houston is another team I'm avoiding. The press is going ga-ga over Watson, and it is understandable if people get sucked into the hype. I'm not going selecting a mediocre team with a rookie QB as long as there are other viable options. Besides, it looks like the Browns are making a switch at QB and could make a step up in performance.

That, and they have one of the biggest home field advantages in the league.
The standard is the standard.

Going with Denver although tempted with Atlanta.
Re: Survivor Week 6
Denver in my one, Atlanta in my other.
Houston may be needed week 9, Denver and Atlanta don't have good matchups until quite a bit later, and everyone knows the NFL changes fast.

Re: Survivor Week 6
Rough week with Atlanta, Baltimore, and Denver all losing... Everyone remaining in my pool got eliminated this week, so I'm assuming we'll continue on next week since there's no winner.

Re: Survivor Week 6
lol @ this thread.
I know of one large multi-thousand survivor pool where there are only 18 remaining after this week. It's been brutal.

Yeah, I'm in a pool with 226 where there are no restrictions on how many times you can pick a team, and it's still down to 10 after week 6. Lol

Last year that pool went all the way to the Super Bowl, and still split 7 ways.
