Re: 2 of the top 3 receiving yard leaders are on the Vikings.
Sometimes you need to step back and take things in perspective. The vikings have played a ridiculously easy defensive schedule so far. The Bucs defense they faced last week allowed 301 yards passing to Mike Glennon who had no WRs and now Case Keenum got 278yds on them. That defense was playing without defensive tackle Chris Baker (flu), linebacker Kwon Alexander (hamstring) and cornerback Brent Grimes (shoulder). Additionally during the game they lost Noah Spence (dislocated shoulder) and Lavonte David to ankle injury.
Other vikings game were against the Saints (worst Defense in NFL)
When they played the Steelers D, we got to see more of how the offense will operate under Keenum against a good Defense. 164yds passing... 64yds rushing from Cook... and Diggs crapped his pants.
Once Bradford returns they won't be as bad as they were against the Steelers and aren't as good as they've been otherwise.

Re: 2 of the top 3 receiving yard leaders are on the Vikings.
While all true the surprise comes from the fact that they were close to last in the league on offense last year. Regardless of who they faced it is a major improvement from where they were a year ago. The offense line is much improved which is music to my ear.Reljac wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 7:04 am Sometimes you need to step back and take things in perspective. Re: 2 of the top 3 receiving yard leaders are on the Vikings.
It's not like they struggled to pass against league worst defenses last year... GB & Washington wore among the worst in terms of Yards allowed, Sacks, and TDs allowedBalzac wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 7:23 am While all true the surprise comes from the fact that they were close to last in the league on offense last year. w2 Green Bay 286yds
w16 Green Bay 382 yds
w10 Washington 307 yds
They just struggle to pass against decent defenses.

Re: 2 of the top 3 receiving yard leaders are on the Vikings.
And the Steelers were run all over by Howard and Cohen.
Steelers were playing at home against the Vikes who were on a short week with a QB who probably didn't know he was starting until the latter part of the week.
Like you said, perspective.
But yes, I agree it's a very small sample size but both WRs have done a good job of winning in different ways and as long as whoever the QB doesn't turn into Checkdown Charlie and is willing to go vertical and throw into tight windows then they'll have a chance to put up strong numbers this year.
Re: 2 of the top 3 receiving yard leaders are on the Vikings.
Bradford has pretty much always been a checkdown charley. I doubt that will change, so has Bridgewater. Of all active QBs w/ at least 1500 career attempts, Bradford is 2nd to last in yards per completion.
So unless you are hoping Keenum is for real. I tihnk you need to prepare for CheckDownSam to return.

Speaking of Treadwell, When will people start dumping this guy? I offered the treadwell owner Perine + 2018 2nd for him and was declined... He said he would rather have a player with upside than a plodder and random 2nd which isn't bad reasoning. But I have to expect his value can't be much higher than that at the moment. Especially seeing how Thielen and Diggs are doing so well and just further confirming Treadwells #3 or #4 WR role on the Vikings roster.onetwothree wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:23 pm Think Floyd impacts Treadwell more than either Diggs or Thielen.

He's still at least a calendar year away from getting cut in all but the shallowest leagues.IBall2 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 4:05 pmSpeaking of Treadwell, When will people start dumping this guy? In the league my sig team is in:
Agholor was never cut, Funchess never cut, Carroo hasn't been cut, Strong was just cut this summer, DGB hasn't been cut, Dorsett's never been cut, M. Lee was never cut, and Floyd has never been cut.
