This is the headache of having fantasy starting WRs playing with bad backup QBs. Just like Diggs, Hilton was in my lineups week 2 when he did next to nothing and was on my bench week 3 when he blew up.

I don't think I'd ever bench Hilton unless I had 3 elite WRs. He doesn't fall into the category of playing matchups.

In a super balanced league for sure. But a lot of the vets around this forum have rosters with guys like Julio, Evans, Diggs, Watkins, & Fitz. In a case like that, you have to occasionally play matchups even with your studs

With Diggs I've pretty much decided that he's locked into my lineup no matter what (if healthy), and I'll deal with the ups and downs.

With Hilton, I still don't feel great about starting him without Luck, though Brisset isn't completely terrible. Coincidentally I have enough depth in the leagues I own Hilton that I have other viable options, and I'll look to those other options again this week. If Hilton has another good game this week then it will ease my concerns some and I'll start plugging him back into my lineups after that.

I'm going to add Mike Wallace to the list. Didn't start him in week 1 due to questions over Flacco's health - and thankfully haven't started him yet at all - but I can't bring myself to drop him either. zero points through 3 weeks, but feel like the turnign point is coming for him to be back into the WR3/4 convo - i.e. possibly startable in my league. It most likely won't happen, but that's why he's so frustrating.

So someone who traded for arob a couple weeks before the season, it is more sad, but still frustrating.. Was really counting on his 15-20 per week :'(

Frustrating

Postby YouMightDieTryin » Tue Oct 26, 2021 6:30 am

Image

What are you most frustrated with so far this year?

I'll start:

Aside from losing 3 RB's (Hunt, CEH, Barkley) in a short span at least they started the season unlike (Dobbins, Akers, ETN). Injuries happen so I can't really be mad at those. It's more the players that get on the field and don't produce. I'd rather you just be on the sideline so I can just bench you!

Shenault.

I had big expectations for you. You're getting targets, but you're being showed up by a guy named Agnew! Do more.

Your turn.

Allen Robinson… the “safest” WR1 you can have. .. a sure fire thing, independent of QB situation. *sigh*

Brandon Aiyuk - there are no words…

Cam Akers - hoping for full recovery

Miles Sanders usage pisses me off every time I think about it. It boggles my mind and in my opinion, people involved in scheme and play calling in Philidelphia should lose their jobs over this inept offense. Hurts... throw the damn ball to Goedert for petes sake. Also of note; Dobbins, CEH. C'mon Cheifs... what the heck? Aaron Jones... one week he is an absolute stud, the next he barely touches the dang ball. C'mon.

Mahomes... hmm... Ridley - lets try to show up huh? Hopkins isn't gettin the yards as Kyler spreads the ball to everyone and their brother.

To a lesser extent, I think expectations where too high for A.Gibson.

I'm actually hitting on all cylinders in nearly all 10 of my leagues. I YOLO'd on Pitts in a TE Premium, I didn't spend crazy on RBs, I held onto older QBs instead of recycling for young ones, etc.

The one thing I did was that I was trying to win and rebuild at the same time. I ended up losing two games by less than 2 points each, and after seeing how good my team could be during the second half of the year, I decided to trade my 1st rounders in for win-now pieces.

That was two weeks ago, and I got Monty & Kareem Hunt.

Nice move...

I'm 2-0 since the deal but seriously, I feel terrible right now. I could have spent far less and achieved far more.

To this list I'll add a couple of guys I should have known better about, but made one last swing that maybe This Time they would do the right thing.

Will Fuller - You are now banished from any of my teams for the rest of your career. There is a sticker by your name with a skull+crossbones

Devin Singletary - It's time for the part of your career where every offseason is a new NFL team. Stop the train, I'm getting off here.

Golladay - Everyone said you were damaged goods, but I stuck by you. Is this how you repay me? Paltry production to open the season, and now another injury? Blech!!

Mike Williams - I had your back for all the down years. I defended you when everyone called you garbage. When I finally decide to give my bench spots to someone else, NOW you decide to remember how to play and stay healthy at the same time. :silent: I won't say what I'm thinking.
