Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
In PPR formats particularly, who are people buying for cheap WR production? Garcon just had a great game, so now may not be the time, but love him as an older WR.

Larry fitz, Kendall Wright, Brandon Marshall
Re: Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
Jaron Brown had 11 targets last week. Danny Amendola missed last week but he was Brady's favorite target by far week 1. Jermaine Kearse is WR#5 on the year so far and has very little competition for targets. Marqise Lee is a talented young WR in line for more playing time, though in a bad offense. A few of these have health issues but seem like a can't miss if they play.
I also expect some others to break out soon, like Torrey Smith, Michael Floyd, and most importantly Josh Gordon. And it will cost you more than a 2nd but now is the time to buy Mike Williams.

Lol hope you're in my league.
Re: Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
higgins is a good buy for a 2nd right now, but i had him at 16 comming out
guys that come to mind are lockett or prich. i like beasley and williams. aldrick robinson is a slick buy for a 3rd if not on waivers. i really like chad williams or any zona wr for the right price. i think stills and ford are good buys...trent taylor is a guy that popped, and should have been owned, but maybe not.
my top buy right now is robby anderson because i think we will see petty soon....but thats just a hunch.

this exactly. The Red Rooster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 4:26 pm Danny Amendola! Should be cheap until this weekend...only a 1 yr rental tho.
Think they ease Danny back in this week, so a line like 5 - 45 wouldn't surprise me. His typical week would be more like 6-7 for 75-90, which is pretty serviceable in PPR.
Re: Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
I bought Brandon Marshall for $10 on free agent blind bidding. Couldn't believe when he offered that to me. He's healthy, so I think he'll return to a decent start soon.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Re: Who are you buying for cheap WR production?
I was giving Rooster a hard time but I like Ammendola as well. Everyone else thinks he is a one week rental as well which is why he is cheap.
Cheap in a relative way is Davante Adams. I own him and I'm NOT biased. In fact I tried to get rid of him repeatedly. But the forum has convinced me he is a decent hold. He will has a high likelihood of being in GB until Rodgers retires. I kept trying to get rid of him because he didn't fit the mold of pure talent(IMO) but he is a bit like an RB in a great situation. Maybe like many view D Freeman. Stop worrying about talent, win a few championships with him and then worry about his talent level after that.
He is about a mid 1st level price and he should return near WR1 production for the next 3-4 years. Where else can you get that. Even if he falls off the radar like Cobb, implodes, gets traded, etc, you can still sell him for a mid 2nd. The risk to reward ratio is very good regardless your thoughts on his talent level or drop problems.
I'm with Skip on KB as well. For the price, you are getting a hell of a bargain. I think he can hold close to the same production even if Derek Anderson fills in for an injured Cam as well.
