Is Lacy Droppable?

Postby DynastyDeepDive » Fri Sep 15, 2017 3:52 am

I've traded for Lacy 2 years ago and I swear since then he has not produced one meaningful stat line for me.

Ready to dump his bleep. Is he droppable at this point or do I need to be more patient for a better opportunity next year when he's not on Seattle?

I just traded for him this offseason, so I totally understand what you're going through. I traded a 1st for Lacy, 2.9, and 2.10. I'm holding him and hoping for the best. Although he obviously does not look to be in a favorable situation, I can't justify dropping him yet. Let's just hope for the best lol. He will also most likely be a FA again at year's end, and maybe can salvage value elsewhere.

Drop. There are other more talented rbs sitting in backup roles that will be free agents. There is also a very deep rb class coming. What team do you expect Lacy to have a better opportunity with? Seattle gave him the red carpet to start, and he is just getting outplayed.

If this is the ten teamer in your sig, he's droppable. Must decent sized leagues, though, I'd say he's still a hold.

I'd try to hold if you can. These types of RBs can bounce back after zeroing out in value (Terrence West, Marshawn Lynch, Chris Ivory, Blount, Demarco Murray).

Wouldn't blame anyone for dropping though.

Lacy is still worth a roster spot. You'll have to wait and see how their backfield unfolds.

Sold my shares last off season, unless there is a hot prospect available, I'd hold- give him at least another 3-4 weeks

I wouldn't drop him just yet. I think he's just barely getting healthy from the ankle surgery and once he's in better game shape (no fat jokes please), he'll perform much better.

Don't have much hope for him, but would try trading to one of the Rawls / Carson / Prosise owners before straight up dropping him.

I've owned Lacy since he was a rookie in 2013; and my team is the only team that has owned him in my league. I added Carson in the last round of this year's draft. I'm holding Lacy for now.

This for me. Personally, I only own one share of him but I think we should give this a little more time.

Sounds like you play in some shallow leagues

Depends on who you would be able to add of the WW. For the right player I'd say yeah, drop him.

But, unless it is a clear win I would still hold. All you need is a few good weeks and you can sell him instead of lose him for nothing. The other RB's will continue to be injured off and on. Eventually Lacy will put together a few good games. I would at least wait until after the game this weekend.
