Its great for seeing what happened on each touch for an RB.
"Trill Highlights" is the one...but not surprisingly he didn't waste his time compiling touches for a box score like Mixon's in week 4.
He actually did and I just went and watched it. Like stated earlier, Mixon didn't look bad at all and was able to get lots of hard fought yards. Was also in several short yardage situations where the defense was all in on stopping the run, and yet he was still able to pick up the 1st down. Obviously those 1 or 2 yard carries look bad on the boxscores, but they were pretty impressive on tape and for the team to continue drives.

I didn’t watch the Browns game, but I did watch the one against the Packers. I’d be interested in people’s take on that game... he looked really solid, just with no-where to run.

Good to hear Goddard. I suspected as much. The few plays I watched, led me to understand that everyone in the stadium knew it was a run.

Bengals oline is just hot garbage and its severely limiting the run game.

After almost a 100 years or whatever its been for the NFL, you would think GMS would know that after Qb oline and d line are the next most important position

Sure but I think it's also a harder position to scout. There are a ton of OT busts, guys who were taken in the top 5 or top half of the 1st round. It's a little easier to see that a RB, WR, LB, maybe even edge rusher, will be a long-term starter. It seems that a scout really has to project with O-Linemen.

But I could be totally off, I'm just going off of the amount of early draft picks at tackle who bust.

It has been an interesting discussion recently because they are a hot mess for many teams, even playoff contending teams. Many are pointing to the fact the too many Olinemen are unprepared coming out of college due to blocking in non-NFL scheme such as air raid offenses.

I think a more interesting endeavor is to see morecollege teams start to run pro-style offenses as opposed to air raids. Though since the priority is winning over producing NFL talent that's not likely to happen unless Ds can cover high powered throwing offenses.

But we arent talking rookies with the Bengals. They willingly let two solid vets leave via FA.

Buffalo isn't the easiest matchup in the world but out of the bye he's got PIT, IND, JAX (run defence) and TEN on the slate. Hopefully he can take advantage of some better matchups out of the bye.

Eh, doesn't move the needle. Glenn is a nice piece for the Bengals as a team, but he's an average tackle with an injury history. I don't see him changing anything for Mixon specifically (but it certainly shouldn't HURT anything!)
