Is Treadwell going to see the field as the #2 or is Floyd still ahead of him?

Floyd will probably be in when they need a pass catching WR2, Treadwell when it's a run play? Total guess tho.

Recently made 2 different trades for Diggs (haven't had the chance to own him before):

For team 2, I traded Mike Williams and an IDP (Hightower) for Diggs. The other owner is in full rebuild mode, going for the 1.01

The other trade was for a team where I'M the rebuilder, traded Crabtree away in exchange for Diggs

I'm excited to see him healthy!

Wow, great work. Not a chance I'd sell Diggs for that.

I’m not watching the game, but I am disappointed by his statistical output thus far. Is anybody watching? What are you seeing?

He's caught 4 of 5. Keenum missed him downfield once after he settled for a checkdown. Drew a DPI on a downfield pass on the opposite sideline. Underthrew him on his 5th target after he beat the DB down the sideline. Not a great fantasy day, but I guess the Vikings haven't needed it.

Hes been primarily used as a decoy. Ran numerous underneath routes which opened up space for theilen. He came out of the game in many of the obvious running plays and 1 wr sets. He did what he needed to do imo to help his team.

Didn't look limited by the groin and didn't look like he aggravated it so should be good to go especially with the bye week.

Good for the Vikings but not really for fantasy owners. It’s a bit concerning that the Vikes can put up 30 without needing Diggs big play ability.

As mentioned above, Keenum didn't see him wide open on one play and he drew a long PI on another play. Looking against the box score only doesn't paint whole picture.

It was against the Browns. They eased up once they had the lead. Nothing to be concerned about.

I’m getting upset with Diggs. There’s been a lot of excuses made for him over the last few weeks. I’m starting to think he only excels when NOT going against a high end corner - which makes him no longer a must start. Thoughts?
And if you agree, how does this bode for him on Thursday against Detroit?

Consistency is still an issue for him. The talent is there. Definitely not a stud at this point.

Disagree. semantics but.... He is a Stud. That is the talent, and he has a TON of it. He isn't getting USED like a stud should. That, I definitely agree on. This isn't his issue per-say, it is how the Vikings are winning however. They are scheming and taking what defenses give them. they are using several different offensive formations and personnel packages frequently, which puts the opposing defense at a disadvantage with match ups and blitzes. Diggs and Thelein are now seemingly the 1A,1B (flip flopping between the two with Thelein being the 1A as of late) with all others in the offense behind them.

Consistency is still an issue for sure, I agree. Still, tough not to start him unless you are loaded at wr or maybe have a 3rd high end rb to flex. To be clear - Talent = Stud in my mind. He just isn't getting used consistently enough for our purposes. AS far as real NFL football, you can be assured that opposing defenses are preparing for Diggs and attempting to pick their poison each week.
Truth is found through Evidence.

Science is the poetry of reality.

* Reality (as defined by Webster's dictionary) - A word for things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional ideal of them.

Diggs & Thielen remind me a lot of Coop & Crab when it comes to fantasy.

This community loves the younger receiver who has shown promise and has "upside" but often disappears but the community is much lower on the 1b receiver who is arguably the more reliable fantasy asset.

I am starting Diggs Thursday without a second thought. That said, my WR crew is a bunch of under performers (Cooper, Watkins, Doctson, Maclin) so Diggs gets a spot also by default.
