So what do we think about this guy? Currently #4 on the depth chart, but with performances like this he'll be hard to keep off the field. ARob is the clear #1, but behind him are a bunch of ?'s. Lee can't stay healthy and Hurns had one good year. Can he be fantasy relevant?

I suppose so, but I think we need to stop ourselves if we are considering he might be the third option at best, on the Jaguar team from two years ago that put up tons of passing yards and touchdowns. We don't like ARob this year because we expect a conservative offense, so by that token we should look at their WR corps in the same way we look at the WR3 or WR4 on a team like KC, Buffalo, or Houston

He's really done well vs. 3rd/4th stringers, would like to see him vs. the 1st/2nd teams.. and yes, we have to suffer another year with Bortles and even if he gets benched it won't be much better with Henne ..

I would like to see if Brandon Allen can do anything myself, he was the guy throwing it to Dede and it was quite electric ..

Calm down... It's the fourth pre-season game. That's not to say I think he has no hope, but the fact he's even playing in this game to such an extent is not great news. He's for sure behind ARob, Lee & Hurns and probably behind Keelan Cole as well.

I grabbed him in both of my leagues; at where he was going he was a steal for the upside he comes with.

Curious to see what happens.

He is playing to "this extent" because he sat out week 3 with an injury; it is his second 100+ yard game. I would not be shocked if he is their WR2 by season end.

Great route runner with reliable hands and incredible athleticism. He's worth an end of the bench spot for sure. Cruz was a good mention, diggs too.

I think he can be #3 , maybe #2 in time, BUT THEY NEED BETTER Q.B. PLAY period.

Is he for real? Impossible to say, but he's produced more than a lot of his fellow draftees. Yes, he's playing against 3rd/4th stringers, but he's also playing with 3rd/4th stringers and he's done enough to stand out. Early returns are very promising.

He may be, but you're going to have to pay way too much to get him right now. Even if he beats out Lee and Hurns to start, are you really looking to start the WR2 in Jacksonville with how they look right now? How many Jags does any of us want to start at this point in time?

But this is dynasty... and things can change quickly. They are now a team with a solid D, a stud RB and WR1. Imagine how different this conversation becomes if they get a competent QB.

This reminds me of a few years ago when NOBODY wanted to buy Oakland WRs because they couldn't produce a fantasy viable WR for 5-6 years in a row. Then Cooper and Crabtree show up and people didn't want to buy into the hype because of the history surrounding Oakland WRs.

I really think dede is a thing (i believe in him) he was a beast last year and killed everything with mayfield. That said this year he will be behind arob, hurns and lee so i really doubt he will have a tremendous impact particulary with bortles at qb and jaguars will run a lot. For next year it will be an another story.

Arob will be RFA but i doubt jaguars will let him walk, Hurns is not liked by the new coaching staff (if he is not traded he could be cut next season) and lee will be a free agent next year. It is a situation to monitor but dede could be the number 2 WR next year. This is why i take a flier on him in the six round of my rookie draft.

He's definitely worth rostering regardless of his pre-season performance. This just solidifies the waiting period for your initial investment. Hurns is not long for the Jags and Lee is in his last year of the contract, so Dede has a pretty clear path to the top of that depth chart alongside ARob.

They'll have a new starting QB next year so QB situation is irrelevant for the time being.

Yep, a lot of shortsighted comments in here. It wasn't even that long ago that the Jags had solid fantasy options at WR...the year before last. Just because they have a new RB toy and claim to want to run the ball doesn't mean that their WRs won't produce anything relevant. Dede won't produce for us this year, but what 3rd round rookie picks do? He has done more than almost every other rookie this preseason and 2nd/3rd team or not that is impressive.
