He didn't slip through the cracks. Give anyone 20 touches and they will eventually produce. End of story.
Zac "Rushing Monster" Stacy was a thing for a while. Jacquizz doing just fine.

Give anyone touches and they will produce.

I sold Carson and a 2nd for a 1st. We'll see how that one plays out. Liked the value given he's unproven even though I love his running style. It was tough but getting a 1st seemed like a worthy gamble

I'm starting him in my non-ppr league, but not with confidence. I just don't have options I consider better (guys like Ingram are worse imo) atm. In PPR, I'm debating between him and D-Jax, and will probably hedge my bets and start Desean there. Tenn isn't a cakewalk matchup. But I could foresee 12-15 carries for 45-60 yards, 2-3 receptions for under 20 yards, and a goal line TD. I doubt he gets under 15 total touches this weekend.

Yes wrong section, but definitely take it!!! I'm excited to hear that his value is that high at the moment.
Of course Carson could break out further over the course of the season and I'd say only then would the values be equal, so to get Doctson now is a win for you in terms of value, imo.
He will probably peak to Rawls like value next off season if he stays healthy and produces even modest numbers. I don't think he is a long term hold since Seattle has this weird RB trend lately and we all know the overall RB reliability outside of the top few guys is really hit or miss. I generally will flip a guy when I can make a generous, fast profit and only hold when I am really sold on his talent and situation. When a guy was free and I can get upwards of a first, I will almost never turn that down. That is how you end up turning the Charizard Wests of the world into guys like Fournette.
Part of the reason for Rawls peak in value was he played really well and looked really good doing it. It was obvious he was very talented. I don't think Carson is the same level of back as 2015 Rawls (he also has a much worse o-line if I'm not mistaken).

Agree with Ninja, Rawls looked good during his rookie stretch and even as recent as their playoff win last year. He was a hot recruit at a big time program until he decided to become a knucklehead. Carson was a virtual unknown even though he played for a team that does nothing but get in shoot outs. Volume and opportunity is there, but the line is meager to say the least. Seattle does find its offensively rhythm usually in the next few weeks if recent history is any indicator. He should still be a RB2/flex starter for a few weeks and then maybe there will be some more clarity.

That was informative.

John Clayton was on the radio today after an update from Pete Carroll. It sounds like Carson actually has a fracture in his leg below his knee. It doesn't sound like a broken ankle, or broken leg in the Kevin White sense, but more tests are needed.

They're still predicting that he'll likely miss the rest of the season. But this injury might not be quite as bad as it looked last night. Too bad Dalvin Cook wasn't as lucky. Another rotten day at the office for NFL RB's in 2017.

It's a bad enough injury to keep him out the season right?

It seems that's the way they're leaning. But supposedly after the game last night Carson wasn't wearing the air cast, which supposedly confirmed that his ankle wasn't the primary injury. It's all conjecture at this point, and they're running more tests today.

The reporting is still tending to count him out for the remainder of the season. I was more looking at his long-term prognosis since a broken ankle is what's kept Rawls from looking like the same RB he was for a 6-game stretch during his rookie year. It's looking doubtful Carson will get back in 2017. But if his leg isn't as bad a feared it may not hamper him too much heading into next season.
